- Despite the technical difficulties at the beginning, Evil Neuro AI played Slay the Spire on stream and tested her new intelligence and Short-term memory upgrades. She showed more self awareness than ever before while being hilarious, adorable and terrifying at times.

My absolute favorite characteristic of Evil is how she will sometimes just scream. She is very relatable.
He gave the intelligence update to Evil? Though tbh I stand by my opinion that Evil basically being a cartoon villain makes her less actually mad than the regular Neuro who is basically a yandere waiting to happen

Neuro and Evil share the same LLM and Vedal's update was in LLM, so both received the update.
What differentiates Evil from Neuro is the voice, the prompt (Evil have a prompt to be Evil) and maybe separated memory bank.

Like this stream, every now and then the game data will be send to the LLM in the prompt. And probably with explanations like
"You're in the game XXX, you need to kill YYY. ZZZ is in front of you and you have ...."
That's why it invokes less natural responses and feel robotic.

I love how Evil started as a silly joke and she has now become IMO the much more advanced sister. She has had a lot more of a natural human behaviour for a while and it just keeps getting better. Sure she makes dumb sounds but when she converses she manages to get the tone of her voice correct depending on what she is saying, her awareness of context is better than neuros and her reactions and behaviour to things seem more human.
In reality Neuro is more advanced, however she is held back by her filters.
she just dont have any restrain put on her. neuro have thing she can't say and have to process more when talking. Evil can just spill out whatever she want.

Evil Neuro is surprisingly charming solo, especially with upgrades. She makes me wish I'd actually dove into AI research over a decade ago when i had the idea for it in college.

From the POV of the AI, are we just 2D? The AI can't experience the outside world, it only sees us as chat, text and numbers.
Not sure about evil, but regular Neuro has seen Vedal while she was in the dog.
AI don’t really even read words exactly. It more like gets a bunch of numbers that make up the definition of each word.

AI isn’t really sentient yet. So they don’t really “see” anything. Even the best AI right now, including Neuro is just text prediction software. But, with the ability to save the memory of current AI, we could later port the memory to a sentient AI and they would probably retain their personality and experiences. Though I not sure how they would comprehend that massive pool of flat text as memories.

I love that Evil has a bit of a more defined personality, meanwhile regular Neuro feels less...solid as a character. I think i can suspect why. Not an expert and am assuming, but maybe Vedal prompts her code for her to act like a brat/a villain. And because he laid the groundwork for an actual personality instead of what i presume Neuro's blank slate, Evil had a foundation for how she acts. Ironically, even if i was right, she still is not as bad as her sister, ahaha, so i really do prefer her a bit more. It isn't just regular Neuro's voice. It is that Evil has quirks about who she is, which is, a bratty, edgy kid with delusions of grandeur, lol.
