@z5m2 We’ll know more Monday with the senate hearing. My view is the whistleblowers would not come forward risking their careers to notify these senators if it was ordinary procedure. The DHS agents that were there were “investigative officers” which are not trained in protecting the president.

I’m woman in my 60ties. I got my MBA from UCLA in 1992. We studied organizational change. It’s been a while, but as I remember, “framebreaking change” was the most effective, fastest, yet riskiest way to drastically change the trajectory of an organization. Framebreaking change means abrupt drastic change where you risk everything only because the current path is catastrophic… and many organizations fail. This is not the Republican Party that my West Point General father supported, but it is becoming the Party that I think we need to swing the future of our Country and the World to a more rational path. I think the Republican Party is attempting “framebreaking change” at great risk to the traditional party narrative. Today, few Americans believe the leftwing news media or trust government organizations. I never doubted the integrity of the FBI, Secret Service, CIA, etc., until the last several years. After watching recent events, how do you trust our government? I’m a moderate that has become a hardcore Republican over the past few years. If our Country swings back to center, there are numerous issues where I do not like the Republican stance, but they are the less important issues in my eyes given the current climate of our wonderful Country. It is not just the United States, look at Canada, UK, France and much of the free World. We are a world in crisis. No rational person can want this. We need an abrupt, drastic worldwide swing back to center. Few people in the history of the World have done this is a positive way. I’m hoping that Trump can become this person. I think Trump is narcissistic. He pontificates. His manner of speaking sometimes annoys me. There are numerous things that I don’t like about Trump… BUT, he is undeniably a strong leader, he made massive positive strides across many areas while he was in office, he will swing us back from the crazy “woke” narrative, and hopefully will unite rational minds for the greater good, even when we disagree on lesser issues. We were on a remote, off grid, monkey rescue island in Panama when we found out Saturday evening. The local N'gabe people seemed to be even more upset about it than we were. It brought home to me solidly how dependent so many other countries are on the political, financial, and social stability of the US. We need to look beyond incompetence and negligence. We hear Sax describe the level of thoroughness the SS demonstrated for the fundraiser, (presumably an indoor event). It makes zero sense they would be so careless for a huge, outdoor rally. It questions the legitimacy of the narrative the mainstream media is serving.

The problem is that you and Sacks no nothing about Ukraine. The war started not in 2022, but back in 2014. At that time NATO was not even close to be on the table, since even Ukrainians voted against being in NATO. And also Putin openly said about Ukraine several times (he even wrote a book about it), that he thinks that Ukraine can't be an independent country and it should belong to Russia. So the main issue is not NATO, it just that Putin doesn't recognize Ukraine as independent country and always wanted to control it. Therefor he had no problem with all other neighboring countries like Latvia, Estonia, Finland being part of NATO

There are simply rules of a market, the enforcement of those rules, and the freedom to operate within the rules of a said market. The rules of globalization to this day, basically forces corporations to arbitrage labour between different jurisdictions with different local policies. At the end of the day, money is a tool to make life better. Policies that make wealthy investors richer at the expense of wage earners are the most clever and least wise policies that can be choosen.

So the main issue is not NATO, it just that Putin doesn't recognize Ukraine as independent country and always wanted to control it.
