I never really expected this to become my go to podcast for the week but somehow it has. As someone that was there since the beginning with JRE there has been quite a void as the platform and content changed to less about what is used to be but this podcast is hitting a lot of those itches I need scratched. Really enjoying the ride so far.
@@goatmansasquatch1485 Not something I've really switched over to. Not for any protest reason it's just not a part of my day to day activity. JRE has fallen off. I still have a lot of respect for Rogan but I'm long tired of the political bullshit and the bringing on cherry picked guests to push his narratives. I think he is a good guy but his focus is far more on his narratives and beefs now and far less what it used to be, which at it's peak was absolutely fascinating on a regular basis.
@@wolfman8449 so .. you don’t listen to music? Apple Music? Jre is the exact same actually better since there’s no ads on Spotify podcasts and UA-cam had one every 10 minutes. He can speak more freely too and they don’t delete episodes

I didn’t deliberately stop watching it when he moved to Spotify, it just kind of fell out of the routine of things I watch by not being on UA-cam. I have Spotify and will still tune in occasionally, but not nearly as much, and it has nothing to do with politics etc. This is the case with most people I know who watched. A hundred million dollars is a hundred million dollars but the show is just not the same on Spotify. The comments section was always a cesspool, but I feel like having zero interactivity whatsoever also played a part in this.
Yep... been to court for skateboarding on the side of the city street, using it as transportation on my way home from school. Sidewalk had no skateboarding signs, so I thought I was good, but nope. I had friends who would eventually go to jail over it after getting caught multiple times.
Dude Tony, naps are key to life man. I'm 45 and I've been napping almost everyday since high school. Hell i took two naps today. I can nap anywhere, anytime, for as little or as long as I can get away with. Tony, treat yourself and add a nap to your day. Love this podcast.

I was at that Huck Jam in Dallas when the motorcycles didn’t go because the ramp was painted. I have always wondered why they got painted and always thought about it when listening to HvsW. So crazy that all of a sudden he fully explains the story and extra bits behind it. Keep going deep guys, it’s awesome!
What they mentioned at the end is so true, they get so into talkin to each other they don’t remember that they have already touched on some stuff they’ve already said/ go off topic/ whatever but doesnt even matter cuz they are saying it differently and the chemistry is what makes this the best i love you guys man and nothing against tony but ellis is what makes this podcast he brings out a tony we have never really seen because of how into it they get. so entertaining, better than anything else i watch or listen to like even tv

Hi guys great show. Regarding your last topic about cops and skateboarders. PiG City you may have heard of it Brighton Uk. Why do you think we named it that ?. There was a time in the late 70`s (showing my age here) Brighton police that a anti skateboard squad. Where 2 mini buses (meat wagons as we called them) full of cops (or Pigs) drove around arresting skaters and confiscating their boards ( trying to :-). A large vehicle is never going to catch a kid on skateboard, we had great fun :-). @Tony Hawk, ask Deac :-)

Dude I got a ticket for “Jaywalking” when I was 14 because I was carrying my skateboard. Had to go up here in front of a judge, and when I explained what happened, the judge just tore it up and told me to go home.😂 totally discriminated, just for being a part of skateboarding.
Skateboard tickets... To badly paraphrase Henry Rollins what you really need to be able to do with stupid cops and security is 'to just stick a pin in their brain and wiggle it around like a frog in science class and then go on about your day'
