Is Worlds of Fun Getting The First Full-Fledged Titan Track Coaster?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 сер 2024
- Worlds of Fun has been strongly rumored to receive a coaster for their 50th anniversary for quite some time now. Recent clues have helped to narrow down our options for what Worlds of Fun will receive, and I'm convinced that Worlds of Fun will get the first ground up coaster to feature GCI's new Titan Track. Today, I discuss all the evidence that points to the park receiving this kind of coaster, and what this coaster could look like.

This is THE month to be excited for as a coaster enthusiast, literally can’t wait for every announcement
Best month we’ve had in awhile! The amusement industry is back!
@@amusementscape 2023 is gonna be insane for the industry
@@JAXXNCREATED Yeah it might not have the best coasters ever, but there's going to be a lot of unique stuff, and I'm here for it
Well you called it being the Titan Track. Love the Zinger coming back and Cedar Fair FINALLY giving something to Worlds of Fun
Worlds of fun is themed to Around the World in 80 Days, and it has 5 lands; Americana, Europa, Africa, Scandinavia, and Orient. It makes me so happy that WOF hasnt forgotten the theming of the park after Cedar Fair took over. Hopefully for the 50th they will also try to bring back more of the theming.. the suitcase gives me hope!!
With so much activity coming to KC over the next several years this is a great time to put in a large scale prototype coaster in this park. With Kansas City being in the heart of America and so much land still to be had at this park, Cedar Fair could easily turn this park into one of their premier parks in the future. For any people that aren’t as familiar just do a satellite view of the park. The amount of land they have around the park (especially off the outer road that goes into the park) is insane! Could definitely throw a Fury 325 type B&M in that area in the future.
Yeah it all is gonna depend on this one but I’m excited!
As someone who lives in KC I wish we got a more intense inverting wooden coaster. It appears that there are no inversions unless they really decide to surprise us. This is why titan track was made for more intense rides and instead they make a spiral lift hill.
This is my home park and to see it finally getting attention and about to FINALLY get a roller coaster that’s likely quite large is so awesome, honestly gives me chills. The 11th can’t come any slower I swear lol
Maybe this new ride will have interlocking inversions (loops and/or corkscrews) to pay homage to Orient Express?
It’s very possible! I wouldn’t say it’s too likely but definitely in the cards
That would be a dream come true, was going to comment something like this before I saw yours! Although not very likely I would still be an incredible homage and very innovative for a "woodie!"
I so excited for new titan coaster
This was a great analysis, probably the best video of what we know so far. I’ve been following this project closely and I think you nailed everything.
Thank you! I greatly appreciate it!
I hope that this is a step in the right direction for Cedar Fair to give more attention to their lesser parks, admittedly CGA's eventual closure does likely condemn Dorney and Michigan's Adventure to likely receiving hand-me-downs again as their next "major coasters". ValleyFair! could use something good given that the new Lost Island park has opened. A hand-me-down from CGA isn't that, but I feel that's the most likely option, even if they didn't get one from Geauga Lake.
If this is the start of Cedar Fair not neglecting their lesser parks in favor of spoiling their flagship ones then the closure of CGA will not be as much of a deathblow to my view of Cedar Fair as it would be (particularly if Gold Striker gets scrapped). Honestly World's of Fun has a lot of potential to be a destination park, they deserved a giga WAY more than King's Island ever did (Knott's is a good home for one I will admit if that one ever happens). They have the space to do great things, hopefully it ends better than it did for CGA.
awesome !! Worlds of Fun needs a new ride...
Yes
I’m excited to see something similar to RMC from another manufacturer. RMC’s are becoming a little predictable but honestly they do the best job of making attractions similar but with a few unique features. Love RMC glad to see a little competition.
this is a complete crazy unlikely idea and expectation, but imagine if it’s a launched titan track gci, with a swinging launch with a spike and some original element in place of a top hat. very unlikely but definitely cool to think about
Homage is pronounced "Ah-Mage," like "omelette." Great video.
That’s the French pronunciation, you can technically say it either way and it means the day thing. Thank you though, I appreciate it!
I think it may be themed to planes, or trains
I think there is a chance that the ride is wood, with inversions and more intense moments as titan track.
this is your best video man. great work
Thanks man! Really appreciate that!
And the park just 3 hours away might be getting another coaster for 2023 Adventureland
Cider Fair could be playing us by putting “wooden “ on the permanent. LOL
yes
WHY yes we are!!!! announced this am!!! Zambezi Zinger II coming in 2023 right where the original was!!!!
WNY Coasters: Is Worlds of fun getting the first full-fledged Titan track coaster?
Zambezi Zinger: YES
I hope gci put there hybrid wood/steel lift hill
Ik this doesn’t go with Worlds of fun but kings island is teasing a new roller coaster. If you look from Racers exit you can see on adventure express’ station there is a V that has stars which goes with Vortex. They also have the same thing under the Bat, next to Vortex’s plot, Beast, Diamondback, and Under the shed at Mystic Timbers.
Have not lived in KC for a while, but if they build a high quality coaster, I will have to go there and check it out. With just a few new good rides, Worlds of Fun could be a really good park.
I can't wait to see what happens next!
Anyone think that these new gci tracks will make them better than rmc? I think the mix of speed that gci coaster have with the intensity of inversions would possibly top some of the best rides😳
I feel like the gp might just skip it because it is "the same" as prowler if it is made of wood so I think it will be at least 75% titan track
Can confirm. My family and friends hate wooden coasters so much they even doubt RMC conversions make the ride smoother because it's still wood in their minds so at the very least it better be mostly titan track.
@@kaylawhipple7570 yeah that must be hard
It's a bit frustrating for sure, I do mention what everyone says since I have yet to ride one but I just let them be, I'd rather not start a debate over something like coasters.
@@kaylawhipple7570 yeah
Can't wait for the follow up. My predictions are....titan track: none, inversions: none, GCI: yes, Infinity Flyers: yes, better then Prowler: no.
I think they should honor the O Ex with interlocking loops someday but I'd assume that would not be possible with something at least is partially wood 🤷♂️- Ride On Nessie!!
Very exciting times for
WOF home parkers!
Sweet video
Thanks!
Imagine if it has a launch. 🤔
I can see a coaster war coming including WOF, Valleyfair, and Potentially Lost Island
I'm so excited for my home park! We've waited so long for this good news. A bunch of people in the the pass holders fb group, who aren't as obsessed with roller coasters, think that the old Dinosaurs Alive area is going to be redone to have African animal animatronics to interact with the train as it goes by. So if that's at all true, then we still don't know where this coaster is going to sit in the park. Can't wait for the park announcement!
Doh!
That's really odd CF would go with Titan Track instead of an RMC ground up but it'll be cool to see one finally.
CF has said that after the problems Steel Vengeance had when it first opened that they have no interest in working with RMC again.
@@cynicanal111 I've heard that before but it doesn't make much sense. Six Flags has every model from them all over the country heck they even built another one this year.
@@oblivieon1567 Cedar Fair and Six Flags aren't the same country. Six Flags has no qualms with working with RMC. Cedar Fair does.
This will be a new hybrid coaster!
I wish they would Titan track Timber Wolf
Please cedar fair give my home park a new coaster!!!
Really hope this happens and it gives WoF attention. I'm hoping that there is some inversion.
As far as theme, it would make sense to pay homage to Zambezi zinger because the clearing is in the African section of the park...also hear that they will be removing boomerang... Good riddance... I disagree with you about wof not needing a family ride..spinning dragons is the only mid thrill coaster there.... My guess is a family woodie like invader with a spiral lift hill and a tunnel finale just like zambi
Wow. You were spot on!
Spoiler!!!!! NO!!!!
yuck
Great video! I’ve been a concept video on nolimits 2 on how i think the ride will look like. I plan to release it by monday.🎢
Awesome! Can’t wait to see it!
