For me as a first pedal, I would be interested in building a sound gate. (For those who don’t know, it measures the output from the guitar and only lets the signal through if it’s past a certain threshold). I feel like it would be fairly simple to make but it’s very useful when put behind a delay as it reduces noise and stops unwanted string noise from being echoed back.
Thanks for the tips, it answers what was going wrong for some builds, that never got completed. I'm just trying to build a Fuzz face with BC183 transistors.
First, I think it's really cool that you are doing this and encouraging people to learn. I think my first build should just be something relatively simple, but I'd really like to build a smart gate pedal.
Great video very helpful for people who want to learn how to start building guitar pedals for my first build I would like to make a tone bender type fuzz pedal
i just got my first electric guitar and amp. i also I ordered a tube screamer clone kit, so that will be my first ever pedal build. I'm really enjoying your channel. keep up the great work
Awesome ! My first pedal was the BOSS delay dd3 , but always want the inalmbric relay 10s ... Also some modulation pedals .... Hope to win this pedal , from México lucky yo everybody !
I'm stoked for your Chanel! That was a great build video. Ive been working on a colour sound one knob variation. Im very new to pedal building but its really fun/hard
i just build my first KIT based on Wholly Mammoth fuzz. Next is something with chip, wanna try something intresting like delay with drive for dirty feedback! Im just starting so this channel is helping a lot!
love the videos, really helpful. im currently building a clone of an EQD the depths. would love to see a video of how you prepare your enclosures, they look great!
Yo love the channel so far! Could you make a video showcasing how you actually design circuits, the math, the descisions, how you decide what parts to use and where?? Thanks
Hey man! Grat channel! I'm starting to get into pedal making myself, was planning on doing a fuzz kit first since they should be good practice. Can you recommend some good eu based sites that sell clone kits? Also, I plan on doing just a few kits to get a hang of it, after that I would like to make everything myself... have you made your own pcb's and would you do a video on how to do it? I know a few processes in theory but your videos are really nice to follow. I can follow the schematics to a point but transfering it to a blank PCB is a bit abstract to me right now so I'd be really interested in that kinda content if xou plan on making it? Cheers!
Cool video! Can you tell me which pcb boards you are using? Where I can get the same ones? I wan't to build pedals with the pots that are soldered directly into the pcb boards just like yours
My first project is going to be a mod of a Boss DS-1, and I have plans for making an impedance box for my recording interface to use with a few different mics. As for an actual pedal build I’m sure I’ll want to start with something simple (from what I’ve heard) like a fuzz, or probably a clone of an old French Toast/Tone Machine pedal.
I had an idea of combining tape desk preamp fuzz with 3 band EQ and a varitone circuit from old gibson ES series. Add some tape slapback and you're good to go:)
I'm not really a pedal builder, but what about a fuzz pedal with a parallel transient designer. This has not been done before to my knowledge. So you could get all the fuzziness you want but compensate with an attack knob to keep the definition. Maybe an included blend knob would also be cool :-)
The first pedal I want to build is a pedal that will simulate or emulate the legendary sounds of our legendary guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, and Brian May. I would love to win this giveaway.
it could be interesting to build a crazy modulated distortion with an lfo or even better a sample and hold that can control some parameters, maybe i'm too much into modular.
Dude nice work keep it up! I want to build a delay pedal for my next project. I'm a new builder so I have some questions. For example what size of wires do you use? I also noticed that you didn't include a battery socket, is there a reason or something you do as a builder? Again, very good video!!
Hey! I use solid core wires mostly 0,6mm diameter. I like them because I can form them and they keep shape so builds looks more tidy :) I'm not including baterry socket because in most of my designs there is no space for it :P Thanks for watching! Cheers! :)
I'd love to win this pedal, it sounds so great. It would remind me of the time I was living in Lodz :) Next pedal I'd like to build would be a delay, not sure wich one yet.
Thanks for watching! Wow nice to hear You lived in Poland! :) PT2399 chip based delays are easy to build, there are lot of cool projects over internet :) Cheers!
Thanks for watching! That type of pedals are very easy as first project. I'm preparing few wids about building distortion from easy kit. Also I will show how to add some very easy and cool mods so stay tuned! Cheers! :)
Fuzz Face it's cool and simple circuit! You need to try it! Klon it's also not very complicated but it has much more parts :) Thanks for watching! Cheers!
I'd like to win this. The first circuit I'll be building this winter will actually be a full guitar preamp and I'm going to integrate some of the ideas found here www.muzique.com/lab/warp.htm
I wouldn't build one. Thought it was interesting video to watch. My stepson is a musician I like learing guitar stuff so we have stuff to talk about lo.

The first pedal I built was a feedback loop. I just made a PCB for a tight metal which is my next build. Love the video dude!
Thanks for the love! Good luck with next builds!
These vids a re freakin great! They are legit exactly what I’m looking for! Can’t believe how underrated your channel is. You deserve more viewers!
I think I just might pick up that bass chorus kit I've been eyeing because these videos are really easy to follow. Looking forward to the rest
Thanks for watching! In my opinion chorus it's must have for bass! :D

Woah very cool man! This pedal gets really gnarly sounding
For my first project I think I’d like to build a compressor pedal. Thanks for the video!
@@njrous Nice pick! Dyna comp variants should be pretty easy to build for first projects! For sure You will find DIY kit for it :)
Next build will be a Sunn model T clone with a RAT in front for the ultimate doom machine!!! Awesome vids man, big love from AUS.
Thanks! :) That would be a great combo! Cheers!
Need to build all the pedals
Hi bro, nice videos! would you like to tell us how to mods overdrive/distortion pedal and what parts should be changed to improve it sound, thanks

Again awesome video. After my workplace is done I'm gonna start on my first delay pedal :).
Thanks! :) Delay it's must have and really fun to build! :)
@@ToneCharmAudio wish me luck ^^

I have built a Gilmour-esque fuzz pedal before, but as a next challenge, i think a phaser would be very fun. Don’t know where I’d start though!
You are a really cool guy, hope, somehow, we can work together someday. Cheers!
Sounds fantastic! My next build will be either the Pussy Melter, the Triumvirate, or Madbean's Rustbucket.

Cool video! Can you tell me which pcb boards you are using? Where I can get the same ones? I wan't to build pedals with the pots that are soldered directly into the pcb boards just like yours
I think for my first build I would like to do a SHO clone or an octave fuzz
Very good projects to start with! Cheers!

bardzo fajny film :D
Dziękuję! :)
I bet it wouldn’t be too difficult to build a volume expression pedal to do some nice beatles style ‘volume swells’
Sounds great! I'd like to build a great sounding fuzz, that doesn't require GE or other hard to find components.
I would love to build a Klon Centaur
The first pedal I want to build is a pedal that will simulate or emulate the legendary sounds of our legendary guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, and Brian May. I would love to win this giveaway.
Soon this pedal will belong to one of my subscribers! :)
Czy przy gotowym drucie cyny ze spoiwem dodatkowo trzeba kalafonie?
nice vid! i would probably work on some form of HM-2 style pedal first
Thanks for watching! It's a pretty complicated circuit for start but for sure cool to mess around! Cheers!
it could be interesting to build a crazy modulated distortion with an lfo or even better a sample and hold that can control some parameters, maybe i'm too much into modular.
I'd like to build a pedal which can switch between the Boss OD-3 and the SD-1

I'm trying to make a clean boost as my first pedal. Hope I don't mess It with The capacitors as they are the most confusing part for me 😂😅

Thanks for watching! Bias knob it's very cool mod for lot of pedals, I will for sure do a vid about it. Cheers!
I would build a vibrato pedal, I think they are quite cool and overshadowed by the chorus. Good luck to everyone!
So far, I have only built fuzz pedals. Next pedal build will be an Overdrive or boost pedal.
Fuzz pedals are great to start! Usually not many parts and also easy to mod! What fuzzes did You built? :) Cheers!
