One night a female bird heads to a bar determined to find
love. Outwardly she seems to be incredibly outgoing and
popular, everyone seems to want to get her attention, but
underneath there is a dark layer of insecurity. A muscled
seagull and a majestic peacock both catch her eye and she
thinks that one of the might be the one, however upon
interacting with them, she realises that there is more than
good looks and charm. This eventually drives her to confront
her own insecurities.

I'll be perfectly honest, I thought she was going to end up with that adorable little owl in the beginning of the short. Ending was so much better than I expected though. I also love that grumpy penguin bartender.

I love how subtly they hinted that he was just like her. Even having him do similar actions such as checking his breath. Super amazing I hope the team behind this short is doing well and thriving because this animations is better thought out than some TV shows.

I uh, I think it'd be like hair. as in it doesn't have neurons. in fact feathers are specialized hair so yeah it definitely don't have the sense of touch like that.

When she took off everything I think she looks more beautiful then when she had all of the accessories on.

Yeah, sometimes, features that people put on, in order to stand out start to look bland when the majority does it, so her appearance after taking off the accessories struck me more.

Everyone is disagreeing. Ok, I am gonna try to fix the moral. Moral: Looks shouldn't matter if you truly love someone. (Whether it be friendships, relationships, etc.). I say this, because well, how you look is the first impression you give someone of yourself, I don't really wanna include features you were born with that you can't change (or can't afford to change), I mean more like the clothing you present yourself with, your hair, your teeth, etc, of course if you were born with attractive features then yeah, you have an advantage, but I much rather a for example, scrawny guy with nice clothing, hair, hygiene in general than some buff guy that looks like he just crawled out of a dumpster.

Love seeing the hadeda in here - every South African knows it all too well because we get woken up by their crazy call every morning. This was fantastic - but why do these CGI shorts always have to make me cry?

I was thinking that the whole time
I might be reading into this a bit more than I should, but the girl is like a person with health problems and the "Peacock" had similar health issues, so when the rain took away the makeup and she pulled off her wig, the muscle bird ran while the peacock stayed to help her.
That might just be me, idk, but it was a strong story that spoke to me on a whole nother level. I loved it so much.

2 Lessons that i found in this animation is very deep, and to go blunt about it, this is what people lack nowadays:
1) Self Confidence - Many people today hide themselves from who they are, running away from what they truly look like (even me, i've been in this situation). But there will be a time where they have to take their masks and show them who they truly are, and that is good, the looks on us was never something to judge, it is the characteristics we have inside that matters. Say you have a pretty good handsome/beautiful look, but you lack the respect, honesty, loyalty, many more, that is not something you want to have right? Sometimes, it's better to show the ugly truth, than to live a beautiful lie. I hope this'll be a way for others to understand themselves that hiding their true face behind a false mask, is enough to make a long-lasting lie about yourself, and to others too. Show your true face, be who you really are, be proud! Because it is you who only knows yourself, who truly knows yourself. No matter what, love will always come to you. And for other people out there who judges many people for how they look, look at yourself first, look in the mirror and ask yourself, are you really who you think you are?
2) Acceptance - In this modern generation, many people tend to look at those people who are beautiful, gorgeous, handsome, strong muscles, you name it! But they don't look at what their characteristics are and in the end they'll find out that they just fell straight down to a beautiful knife. i won't make this one long because it is self explanatory already to be honest. Accept them for what they look like, remember, "never judge a book by its cover." Some may look somewhat, not that beautiful on the outside, but inside, their heart and soul is shining brightly like the stars above the night sky. Learn to accept people for who they are.

why am I so happy over an animation of birds
This is so beautiful! The main protagonist is simply gorgeous and adorable! Also, the graphics and animation look great and fluid. I especially like the meaning of the ending, too.
This was absolutely beautiful... loved the female lead so much, it was so relatable. It really threw me off when I saw the peacock in the rain though, his facial colors and design were completely different, I thought it was another bird lol.

I am guessing she is some kind of crane but I don't recognize the other bird.
The main character is a Hadida (the title being a pun on the name) They're actually native where I live, and visit our garden. I'm not sure about the species of the other bird, though.

Honestly this just shows how some guys are (some, not all) it doesent matter how many people like you or simp for you, only your soulmate will actually understand you. They shoud show this at schools to try and show people to be true to themselves and to not care what others aeound them think. Thankyou to the person who created this.
