@@marike1100 The difference is 14EV (ii) vs 15ev (iii) in DR, to say significantly weaker is a bit of a stretch. @@maxbenson9982 100% get it. work around the messy menu and you have a professional 24mp full frame camera that was at one point one of the most popular wedding bodies (a lot of my friend's used to use the a7 iii but now have upgraded to the a7iv, they still have their a7 iii as a secondary)
I hardly ever comment on youtube videos, and specially not on camera reviews, but for this one I'll type a bit because the video and the camera deserve it. The a7III was a game changer, it was the probably the camera that changed not just mirrorless, but all cameras forever. Do you remember when it came out and everyone thought that mirrorless was just a thing introduced to make DSLRs smaller? This proved everyone wrong, by miles. I bought it in late 2018 and never could, and still can't, justify buying another one. The form factor, the weight, the sensor's amazing capability in any kind of scenario, the e-mount lens options and SO MANY other things. At what was considered full frame entry level pricing we got a9 autofocus; 2 card slots (in which sony decided to make the first slot slot 2 and the second slot the first and make sure they are inserted with the pins facing the wrong direction - but nothing else had them, so whatever); the ISO capability that was only surpassed by the a7s line and it was by what, 1 stop? It's "only" capable of 4k video at a top FPS of 30 but it is 6k downrezed; 1080p at 120fps the bitrate could be better, sure, if you bought an APS-C camera like the X-t3, at the time; 24mp is and will continue to be the optimal resolution, you can see no difference in resolution against the IV that has 33mp; I've had Zeiss 1.8s, 1.4s, sigma 1.4s in 35, 50 and 85, samyang 85 (my favorite e-mount lens of all time) and 35 1.4s; Gs and GMasters at 2.8 and finally Tamrons in 2.8 which is what I use now for size and image quality. Up to this day, if you compare it to the Z6II the autofocus is still better and the sensor is still the same, the R6 just overheats and the antialiasing coating destroys the resolution that is lower to begin with. I was always a specs nerd in cameras and there is no logical reason to change an a7III unless it breaks, you only change it if you want it for reasons that are not logical for photography or if you want more FPS, bits and bitrates in video. I still remember that there was so little to say that people would complain about their pinky sticking out or the screen not flipping, because other than that it had everyone and everything beat at full frame at that price and double that. Every single photographer and videographer should be grateful that this camera was made, regardless of the brand they shoot with. It's the one that forced other companies to start keeping up and canon managed to keep up with it with the r6 what, 3 years later? And still the resolution and autofocus are worse, and i'm not even touching the whole subject of limiting the record times or it would set on fire. Also, let's give a big clap to Sony for making a camera that, for me, was able to do 5 shoots, in 2 days, without charging with 1000 to 1200 photos per shoot and finishing up with 8% battery left. I also have 2 batteries, those 5 shoots were to finally have the feeling of asking a client to wait a second for me to change the second battery that I bought just to take space in my bag, because I never used it. Again, I would love to buy an a7IV without feeling stupid. Summing it up, the only thing that triggers me about the A7III is the fact that I look at newer cameras and get mad because I cant justify buying them, I just bought a bunch of analog cameras in every shape, size and format instead. The only other fault I can think of is feeling too clinical, so more than 4 years later it feels too good, if that makes any sense. Hope this helps (?) =) Quick edit: people complained about sony colors, but when blind tested sony won every single time, which at least made it funnier to see.
The A7iii is an excellent camera for a lot of people. The only true upgrade is the A7RV. If you can afford it then stay with the a7iii with a solid lens. Don't get the A7iv, but save on lenses or A7RV.
I do like my a7iii and it’s treated me so well for the 4 years I’ve owned it! Instead of dumping money into the latest and greatest body I have built a very strong lens collection which is more important in my opinion!
Great review! I kept my a7iii when I bought the A7iv and it is still a really great camera. A fantastic backup as well if you need one. I like keeping different lens on the two bodies which works great and saves changing lens.
I got a nearly mint A7III with 3 batteries, which are all working each a whole day or longer. It has 50k shutter and people on eBay think, every camera with over 12k are crap. So the A7III with 5-20k shutter goes for 1.000 - ^l200 Euro. I bought mine with complete package for 700 dollar. And like I said, only one tiny scratch from thenzipper of a bag can be seen. And I don’t like the new flip screens. You have to do so many steps and your camera gets so much wider. And if you buy such a camera for taking pictures from yourselves, connect it to your phone and you see, what the camera sees.
The a7iii is still a great choice for photographers in 2023. I've got an a7IV and two a7iii bodies and setting aside video, the older a7iii tracks & focuses very well and delivers great images and is a better value (cost vs. performance), especially used for eleven or twelve hundred dollars. With tax a new a7IV will set you back close to $2700 or $1600 more than an used a7iii leaving enough to buy some serious glass!
@SOLEAUX Excellent 4K at 24 or 30 fps. Good 1080 at 60 or 120 fps. Excellent colors out of camera. Video limitations would apply to more advanced video experts wanting the capability to do serious color grading because that requires 3 thimgs: 1. Expert skills editing and color grading with Premier Pro or DaVivci Resolve. 2. High power computer with 32 GB RAM, 11th plus generation Intel i7 or i9 and a pricy nVidia GPU (3060 ti or better). 3. A camera with 10 bit video output. If you don't have those skills and gear the 8 bit video from the a73 will deliver quality video.
I've been using a7iii for 5 years. The menu is so clear and the flip screen is so comfortable in most scenarios. Don't over analyze things, in fact a7siii is a great camera but there are few reasons I still don't like in it.
Ive got one just under 1.4k with the f1.8 50mm, its awesome but one thing to consider when moving full frame that I didnt is that lens prices also seem to double. Also if youre going the new route I found that often the a7c is the same price as the regular a7iii and personally I'd go with that as it has slightly updated features compared to the regular one also a flip screen.
For photography it's not as good as the A7iii. If one is ok with the slightly older AF algorithms (keep in mind that when this was released it was best in its class), the more robust shutter of the a7iii works better. A7C is limited to EFCS as Sony only put in half a shutter. This means that if you shoot primes in broad daylight, any shutter speed faster than 1/1600 will start to degrade your cut the bokeh.
I got one for $470 with shutter count of 2,597 with a lense and tripod and carry bag with 2x 64gb memory sticks EDIT: it was off of a man who was selling affects of his late wife, I was as respectful as possible when handling the camera and still handle it better than any of my other cameras due to the background of it
3:19 I know one year old but reason they did this is they spect use your phone they was having low app usage so to boost that up they want use app to look at your cam because like distant you was standing you wouldn’t able see your self
I have owned it since 2019. I love it… my only complaint is the screen… I’ve paired mine only with lightweight lenses: - tamron 17/28 2.8 - sony g 24/105 4 - sigma 100-400 - zeiss 35 2.8 - sony 50 1.8 - sony 85 1.8
A noví majitelé určitě ocení současnouu příznivou cenu. U mne zůstává stále srdeční záležitostí a společníkem na výlety i když mám i A7R V ❤
Still rocking my A7iii since my wife gifted it to me in 2019 and it’s been a work horse! Always paired it with Tamron lenses and never looked back. I’m sure Sony lenses are great, but they’re never in our budget. Done lots of real estate photography, engagement shoots, and family vlogs with no complaints. I did however end up breaking the cover over the mic input, but I think that’s more user error than anything lol.
Oh those side input covers... Actually they are something I didn't mention in this video, but Sony couldn't have made them more annoying to open 😅 So I'm sure it's not entirely user error...
Hi! I’ve been looking at third party lenses such as tamron as they’re cheaper like u said. But does the auto focus work well with the third party lenses? I’ve heard people complaining about it so I’d just like to hear your POV
@@OfficialSirigu I only have experience with Zeiss and Sigma as far as third party lenses go on my Sony a7iii and they were working just fine. I would check some reviews specifically about the lens you're interested in and see what they say about the auto focus. I'm sure it differs from each brand and model. I just posted a video about the Sony 24-105 G lens, which I think is a great affordable option. Go check it out if you're interested! 🙌
@@OfficialSirigu I haven’t had any issues with both my Tamron lenses (17-28 2.8 & 28-75 2.8) and the auto focus has been great for me, but it is really depending on what you’re using them for. I’ve never used a g-master lens, but everything I saw when I was researching the differences in auto focus between the two showed the tamron lenses keeping up pretty well, which is what lead me to going with tamron.
@@TheTorinos Thanks! I'll look into the Tamron, Zeiss and Sigma lenses and see. I'm pretty new to photography and I want to get into dog photography as I spend a whole lot of time with my dog and I would need to have a lens that was capable to have fast autofocus to manage to get a sharp photo of him as he sits still for just a few seconds at a time!
Wow, great video! I'm upgrading from a canon t6i and have been contemplating on which model to get. I hadn't considered this one (i was looking at the a7rV but might look at this one and splurge more on lenses) Your video was very informative! Thank you!
I think a really good first lens to get is the Sony 24-105 G lens. For purely youtube recording a wider lens might be better, like Sigma 16-28 or maybe Sony 16-55.
I bought my 7iii two years ago and it was a switch from the 77ii and the differences are huge! I love this device and hooked up with Zeiss lenses this thing gets evil 😍
For photography most cameras manufactured within the last 10 years or even longer (5d mkii for instance) are more than good enough for most people. however most new developments in cameras are in the video department (eg: 4k 60fps) where the older cameras are falling short.
Yes definitely true with regard to the video capabilities improving very fast lately. But also focusing features, noise handling, etc. has improved a lot!
Is it a good upgrade from the Olympus omd em5 ii?? Especially if I have two lenses for the Olympus already? I have a Panasonic f1.7 prime lens & 7-14mm 😊ultra wide zoom lens for it
do u think the kit lens 28-70 with a7III is worth buying ? I see an offer where I could choose between a body and together with kit lens my plan is to get a7III body and get a 50mm F1.8 as I am intersted in street fashion photography and videography for my own personal use... do you recommend this combo or should i get kit lens too?
Thank you so much for the video. As a newbie in photography and video editing, please what budget lens would you recommend for photography and vlogging on a Sony Alpha III?
Recently bought the A7R III second hand (1350 euro) because, nice affordable. Not a hair on my head thought for a moment about the A7 III and not a moment I regret my choice. Altough about the flipscreen I agree. Tip, take a small pocket mirror with you for low vertical shots.
Like most camera manufacturers, as new models are released the previous models in the same category fall in price. Sony knows how to market their products better than most. I don't mind hanging back several years in tech advancements, most of which are video related. Call me old fashioned but I still love still photography and don't need my big boy camera to be a video camera too. There are a lot of us still out here perfectly happy with older camera bodies. My A7iii has performed flawlessly. I probably won't buy a new camera for 5+ years. Spend your money on the best glass you can afford and learn the craft. That should be a rewarding experience you'll have to look back on when you're old and grey like me.
Hi there! I appreciate your videos, they are just great! How would you compare this Sony or the Sony R as you mention VS the Fujifilm X100VI. Please, let me know if you can! Many greetings from Germany!
Thanks a lot Alejandro, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍 I am using a Sony 14mm GM for these videos. If you're interested to see my studio setup, I made a video about a little while back: ua-cam.com/video/xkj-lBNqwg0/v-deo.html
About lack of flip display... I have RX10 and there is easy way to control it via smartphone - I can see at smartphone what camera see ad shoot foto, adjust zoom etc. Don't you have it at Sony Alpha? Then flip display is not needed
Just bought one today for only 800$ with the 28-70. Really excited for it to show up on Monday. Heard great things and my previous camera was a Canon T7 and the biggest thing that I can’t wait to use is the 10fps shooting and the better lowlight photography.
The 30-minute recording limit sucks. I am glad the a7 IV has improved that along with offering a 10-bit codec for SLog3. But, if those things aren't necessary for you, and they aren't for most people, then it can be a great camera.
The image quality is fantastic, offering sharp, vibrant shots with excellent dynamic range. However, if you're into videography, unless you're using a gimbal, the footage often looks shakier than James Bond’s martini. The camera isn't weather-sealed. On cold days, it stops working or behaves erratic (random functions activate on their own). Over time, the buttons have become either overly sensitive or unresponsive. This is my first hand experience with a A7III, over the past 5 years.
Thanks for sharing this! I just thought about this today, because I will have to upgrade to a bigger camera. Also, I'm really impressed by your english pronunciation! What did you do to be that good at talking english? (I'm also from Germany)
As an a7iii owner who also has an siii, no. I wouldn’t. There are so many compelling cameras like the EOS R6 and the Fuji XT3/4 that are in the same price as a new a7iii and offer a better set of features. Provided good glass and you knowing what you’re doing the apsc sensor shouldn’t make that much of a difference. And the r6 can do pretty much most things the a7iii can do and has 4k60. I love my a7iii but I got it right after launch when there wasn’t anything else like it. But in 2023 there are better uses of $1300-1600 in the high end camera realm.
Great video 🙌🏻. Do you think that the Sony zve10 is a good camera for photography for someone that is just starting, I’m not taking pictures to make money, just for personal use . What would you recommend. Thank you for your help 🙏
It is perfectly adequate for photography. I take far better pictures with the Sigma 1.4 line of primes using the ZV-E10 than these youtuber fellas. Also use a 3 flash setup with radio controlled trigger for flash photography. Use it at my school a lot because of its size and also because it's super easy to take videos with (usually use Cine2 profile and Leeming LUT). Only thing they cheaped out on is the configurable auto ISO - it can only use 1 / focal length shutter speed. There is a workaround though by using the memory recall slots. Been shooting since the Practica/Zenith era and then Nikon F401X, F65, F80, D70, D200, D300, D3, D700, D600, D800. It's an excellent little camera that fits in your pocket with a small prime. I tend to use it more often than my Nikon full frame DSLR's. Sony colours I fix with colorchecker dual illuminant profiles.
Is it weather sealed? I wanted to buy it but I like to take my camera to the extreme condition like rain and humid place. So can you give me a thumps up about the weather sealing??
Nice one Joe! Have a look at this video I recently posted: ua-cam.com/video/Ue50WgFrmpU/v-deo.html I go over a few handy settings you can change on your A7iii. That will surely get you on the way!
Well, theoretically the a7iii has a 200k shutter life. Even though I don't think this is officially confirmed. Nevertheless, I don't think you should really care about it too much. If a camera reaches its "max shutter life", it's not suddenly going to stop working. But it's a good metric to see how much a camera has already been used.
I got a7iii new one two days ago bc i have seen how this camera works so as a beginner did i choose the right one? and for videos & pictures which lens you recommend it to me pls. Thank you Best regards
Though question, all of these are slightly different. A7iii and a7iv are hybrid cams, so both video and photo. With the a7iv being an upgrade of the a7iii. ZV-E1 and a7siii are more video focused. With the a7siii being superior.
Do you think I should upgrade from nikon D3300 to this, to get me back to using camera, i'm currently shooting only with my phone? Its iPhone 14PM, and I love its camera!

I'd say you made a good decision! 👍
@cagrerdogan1775 same question
I'm in that spot right now. I have a canon t6 and this is probably the best for the money I've seen
Hope this helps (?) =)
Quick edit: people complained about sony colors, but when blind tested sony won every single time, which at least made it funnier to see.
This is probably the nicest and most elaborate love letter to the Sony a7iii, love it!! 😄 🙌
Interested to hear more about some good lenses for A7III, Ijust bought one
@@lmwanthi how do you like it? Im thinking of getting one
Thank you so much Stijn for the useful and informative tutorial! God bless and good luck!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great review! I kept my a7iii when I bought the A7iv and it is still a really great camera. A fantastic backup as well if you need one. I like keeping different lens on the two bodies which works great and saves changing lens.
Thanks Bill! Yea always nice and comfortable to have two camera bodies! 👍
Which lens are u using
@@dontmissit6480 most of the time I have the 24-105 on the A7iv, and my 100-400 on the a73.
@@WilliamAbbate hi, is it true that the sony a71v camera overheats 10 minutes after shooting in 4k? Thank you
@@motive2283 mine has never overheated. I set the temp to high as soon as I got it. So far I have used it up to about 40 minutes in summer heat.
Yep totally agree Tom! A second hand a7iii is basically a no brainer if you're looking for a decent Sony camera
how does the a7iii stack up for videos ?
@@tomirwinphoto thank you!
Is the A7iii good for video too?
I've been using a7iii for 5 years. The menu is so clear and the flip screen is so comfortable in most scenarios. Don't over analyze things, in fact a7siii is a great camera but there are few reasons I still don't like in it.
Do they have touch screens?
@@project_poor_runner no
I disagree for flip lcd when you use mirrorless camera for video and special with gimbal. A7iii lcd style didn't change the balance of camera.
Good point! 👍
Where did you get it from for that price?
Hey dear can I know where you get it at that price.
For photography it's not as good as the A7iii. If one is ok with the slightly older AF algorithms (keep in mind that when this was released it was best in its class), the more robust shutter of the a7iii works better. A7C is limited to EFCS as Sony only put in half a shutter. This means that if you shoot primes in broad daylight, any shutter speed faster than 1/1600 will start to degrade your cut the bokeh.
got mine for 1k and its great
I got one for $470 with shutter count of 2,597 with a lense and tripod and carry bag with 2x 64gb memory sticks
EDIT: it was off of a man who was selling affects of his late wife, I was as respectful as possible when handling the camera and still handle it better than any of my other cameras due to the background of it
3:19 I know one year old but reason they did this is they spect use your phone they was having low app usage so to boost that up they want use app to look at your cam because like distant you was standing you wouldn’t able see your self
I have owned it since 2019. I love it… my only complaint is the screen…
I’ve paired mine only with lightweight lenses:
- tamron 17/28 2.8
- sony g 24/105 4
- sigma 100-400
- zeiss 35 2.8
- sony 50 1.8
- sony 85 1.8
Thats a nicr selection of lenses! 👌
Crisp and clear review, well done mate
Much appreciated!
A noví majitelé určitě ocení současnouu příznivou cenu. U mne zůstává stále srdeční záležitostí a společníkem na výlety i když mám i A7R V ❤
Today it’s hard to choose between brands. It seems like there’s almost no difference in quality. I really don’t know what to choose.
True, the differences are minimal. But look at it this way, you can't really make a "wrong" choice 😉
At that point then it depends on the lenses and which ones you want to stick with if you have already or but into if you haven't started.
But how does he do the drone shots?
*YES, I SHOULD !* ( _In 2024._ )
Danke!
Thanks Jan!! 👍👍
3:25 cuz its photography first camera. a7s has flipscreen
It’s definitely a great camera for both photos and video for casual and professional work! It all about the lenses nowadays! And storytelling/skills!
I still use this in 2024! Still amazing!
3:20 maybe it has wi fi connections with your phone so you can chek the frame positions
This is a great video, thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Wow, great video! I'm upgrading from a canon t6i and have been contemplating on which model to get. I hadn't considered this one (i was looking at the a7rV but might look at this one and splurge more on lenses) Your video was very informative! Thank you!
Glad to hear you found the video helpful! 😄
What would you recommend as an affordable lens to use with this camera for UA-cam videos, similar to how you're sitting down and talking?
I think a really good first lens to get is the Sony 24-105 G lens. For purely youtube recording a wider lens might be better, like Sigma 16-28 or maybe Sony 16-55.
If you're interested to find out more about that 24-105 F4 I was talking about, I just uploaded a video about it 😉
I bought my 7iii two years ago and it was a switch from the 77ii and the differences are huge! I love this device and hooked up with Zeiss lenses this thing gets evil 😍
Oh yea I bet! 😄
Great review. It's not perfect but I love it, love it, love it!!!!!
Thanks so much!
Amazing review! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I see an offer where I could choose between a body and together with kit lens
my plan is to get a7III body and get a 50mm F1.8 as I am intersted in street fashion photography and videography for my own personal use... do you recommend this combo or should i get kit lens too?
Thank you so much for the video. As a newbie in photography and video editing, please what budget lens would you recommend for photography and vlogging on a Sony Alpha III?
Thank you for the video. I live in France and am considering buying this camera. Do you have any recommendations for second-hand markets?
Recently bought the A7R III second hand (1350 euro) because, nice affordable. Not a hair on my head thought for a moment about the A7 III and not a moment I regret my choice.
Altough about the flipscreen I agree. Tip, take a small pocket mirror with you for low vertical shots.
very clear explanation.
Thanks! 🙌

8:13 is it in bayern , germany on the way back from hintersee :) ?
Hi thanks! Which camera did you use for this video?
I shot some of the B-roll of the a7iii with a Canon R5. The talking head is shot with the A7iii.
Great camera. Thanks for the analysis
Glad you liked it 🙌
Like most camera manufacturers, as new models are released the previous models in the same category fall in price.
Of course it is!
Great Review!!! What lens are you using in your studio for this UA-cam Review?
Thanks a lot Alejandro, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍 I am using a Sony 14mm GM for these videos. If you're interested to see my studio setup, I made a video about a little while back: ua-cam.com/video/xkj-lBNqwg0/v-deo.html
Haven’t upgraded since 2013. I’m ready!
Nice! 👍
hey! witch lens do you use?
About lack of flip display... I have RX10 and there is easy way to control it via smartphone - I can see at smartphone what camera see ad shoot foto, adjust zoom etc. Don't you have it at Sony Alpha? Then flip display is not needed
Just bought one today for only 800$ with the 28-70. Really excited for it to show up on Monday. Heard great things and my previous camera was a Canon T7 and the biggest thing that I can’t wait to use is the 10fps shooting and the better lowlight photography.
Where did you buy it ? I’m looking for one !
Does anyone know the location at 5:00
Lauterbrunnen Switzerland
The 30-minute recording limit sucks. I am glad the a7 IV has improved that along with offering a 10-bit codec for SLog3.
But, if those things aren't necessary for you, and they aren't for most people, then it can be a great camera.
Would you choose this or the newer alpha 7 IV
just upgraded from eos rp to r7iv, huge difference honestly, tho I have to get used to sony menu first
Yea I can imagine! You'll get used to the menu, no worries! 👍
Is this a good camera for a beginner ? If so what's a good lense to start with
Thank you so much for sharing your experience.....
Glad you enjoyed the vid!
Just got it and can’t wait for the weather to be better and shoot some northern lights 😊😊
Nice one! Enjoy 👍
Ha! Thank you! I watched a lot of The Simpsons and movies when I was a kid 😅 I'm actually Belgian but living in Germany 👍
Groundbreaking in 2022? NO
Still relevant and can be used by professionals in 2022? Absolutely
Yep 100% agree! 👍
So what would be the best right now I need a new one
Which camera are you using to record this video?
A7iii
Thank you! This video solidified me getting this camera! I appreciate you pointing the good and bad points
Glad you liked the video! 👍
Well none of the above mentioned models , not even the xt-5 comes close to the Aiii in real world...just been comparing with the xt5..!
Great video 🙌🏻.
Do you think that the Sony zve10 is a good camera for photography for someone that is just starting, I’m not taking pictures to make money, just for personal use .
What would you recommend.
Thank you for your help 🙏
I think the ZV E 10 is not so much aimed towards photography. You can look at the a6 series perhaps!
Great review
Sony a7III still a beast !! In 2024
Thank you! It sure is 🙌
I have this body as my first professional camera. I love this camera. Everything about it.
Is it weather sealed? I wanted to buy it but I like to take my camera to the extreme condition like rain and humid place. So can you give me a thumps up about the weather sealing??
It isn't fully weather-sealed, but “dust and moisture resistant”.

Any tips I should know as I'm moving over from Canon :D
Nice one Joe! Have a look at this video I recently posted: ua-cam.com/video/Ue50WgFrmpU/v-deo.html
I go over a few handy settings you can change on your A7iii. That will surely get you on the way!
What's a decent shutter count for a used? Considering getting a second body. Currently have the A7Riii
Thank you
Best regards
Is this Sony better for cinematic quality short films than the Blackmagic 6k? They are similarly priced. Thank-you.
I have no experience with Blackmagic but as far as I know, that would be a better video camera than the a7iii
Is it recommended for a beginner photographer who’s planning for a long time starting camera? (Not going to upgrade in the few coming years)
I am still dreaming about buying one since it was released
is it a good choice to buy zv e1 for videos only and a7iii for my photography so I have 2 cameras instead of buying a7cR or a7siii or a7iv, ??
Though question, all of these are slightly different. A7iii and a7iv are hybrid cams, so both video and photo. With the a7iv being an upgrade of the a7iii. ZV-E1 and a7siii are more video focused. With the a7siii being superior.
Is this good to steam with ??

Do you think I should upgrade from nikon D3300 to this, to get me back to using camera, i'm currently shooting only with my phone? Its iPhone 14PM, and I love its camera!
Thank you very much for this video! I currently have the Sony alpha 5100 for already 6 or 7 years and looking at a new camera! But how do you know if you buy it second hand if there is guarantee? I find that scary, buying second hand cameras
