Yeah. Old PvZ3 was majorly flawed but enjoyable. I liked taco time and some of the new plants. Leveling system and the attempt at a bloons like silver bullet system (e.g, flying zombies that can only be killed be catapults. However, pidgeon zombie is a good balance of this.) is what made it bad.

I did like the process of farming seed packets and coins, but it took so long and the leveling was so dumb, especially when you unlock a new plant and it is low level. So if seed packets were replaced with another currency, like one for Plant costumes or Plant varients (not direct upgrades, like garden warfare) it would be cool. But plant varients might be too complex and have other problems idk what they could fill the hole with.
Well, at least is not irredemable trash... Which is a bit sad thinking that this is the biggest W they had on the last three years, but Ig we should encourage more of these stuff.

This game reeks of insecurity. Like, if I were PopCap, I wouldn’t even bother adding the choose my seeds option because the game was already heavily designed without it in mind and it’s just a band-aid on what is already a deeply flawed game. I have already come to accept the game for what it is, so adding this feature that counters what the game stands for just convinces me that the game developers have no faith in their sequel.

They solved the biggest problem the game had, which was the total lack of choose your seeds, alongside nerfing some of the stupidly unfair levels and dynamic difficulty, and the annoying tutorial at the start of the game. If they keep doing the same treatment they did with the tutorial levels in the new update, but for the rest of the levels, the gameplay might finally be tolerable to the average human. They should value more quality over quantity and make the game shorter and more compact to achieve a more enjoyable pace, especially considering the amount of plants and zombies pvz3 has to offer right now. I don't mind if they delete 1, or 2... or even 100 levels for that matter. To be honest, having even more levels is the thing that the game needs the least right now. The new update is a great step in the right direction, but at least for me it is not enough. My personal suggestions for the game would be to completely remove the life/energy system, replacing and/or removing more levels for a better experience, and hopefully add something unique to the main gameplay loop of pvz3 to differentiate the game from its predecessors. The tacobility from the pre-alpha sounds honestly pretty good to fill that role to me. I know my suggestions are just pure copium and the possibility of the developers even just adding one of them is absurdly unlikely, but dreaming is still free, ig.
I agree with everything you said removing levels would be great since they keep making new levels fast and don't donalot of work in it they're focusing on quantity instead of quality about the taco time would be really cool i loved thay feature also removing the brain system would be very good too

PvZ 2 did have its own problems BUT the amount of creativity and new ideas that we got was so mind blowing. it was a BIG upgrade and it gave the PvZ gameplay more Depth and replay ability. PvZ 3 on the other Hand.... Lets say it took everything PvZ 2 did and Throw it in the Trash and then say : Lets go back to PvZ 1!.. Whats the point of giving your game number 3 if its even Less Creative than the first Game ????
Plants vs. Zombies was a great game Plants vs. Zombies 2 had potential to be great if it wasn't a mobile exclusive. Plants vs. Zombies 3 is just a straight up mobile game through and through.
When I first saw the Taco I thought Taco Time might return Which I think would benefit this game since another gimmick of the original PvZ3s is having multiple phases, giving a pause to give you the time to use a taco to boost plants before starting the next waves which could add more to the levels

Looks like they made the earlier levels significantly better. But the quanitity over quality levels later on are still so bad.
