I think you could do it but it would need a bit of tuning. Anton's personal damage is pretty dependant on pumping tons of damage during stun windows. You'll be trading his personal burst damage for more consistent shock damage from Grace. I suspect it would feel better against groups of chaff since you don't really care about their stun windows anyway, it might be worse against stronger enemies but maybe you could tune the team to compensate for that. If you're using his signature wengine you'll need to be mindful of how to trigger it (it triggers on chain attacks and EX specials) since chain attacks will be less common you might want to play in a way where you deplete Anton's energy so that each time you bring him out you can use your EX. Note: I'm not a theory crafter so I don't have any numbers to back stuff up I just run Anton Anby Rina and these are my thoughts on how an Anton Grace Rina team could differ.

Antons dmg suffers from a lack of stun windows And Graces dmg suffers from the lack of Anomaly disorders Long story short your dps are trying to share the spotlight. If you want to use grace and rina then a secondary element support with a matching bangboo is your go-to. A few examples I can solidly give are Jane, Grace, Rina with a physical bangboo Grace, Koleda, rina with a fire bangboo Or even Grace, Ben, Rina with Safety or another fire bangboo Usually when I try to build teams now I ask myself one important question (Would this really work in a fight) and go from there

Because nicole also builds up anomaly fairly quickly. Maybe also with 4 piece freedom blues. Also Nicole debuffs enemy defense and that helps aswell no? Iam just asking because I dont have koleda and I dont wanna level up ben.
one interesting piece of tech with anton's first mindscape is that if you use his defensive assist, he regenerates a bunch of energy, cuz it counts as a drill attack, potentially extending his field time and damage contribution
I'm trying to make an Anton/Anby/Nicole team work right now, but man it is tough. He's C6 as well, and I can't even clear the first phase of the current shiyu 17 in under 4 mins, and the weakness is electric for the enemies...My Ellen team just clears it so much faster.
Build him with puffer electro and woodpecker just so you can focus on crit DMG. Nicole will be pretty good for the def shred, but anby isn't super ideal. Qingyi is gonna be his best support alongside Rina. Qingyi is gonna be the most important for peak damage as she can provide a 40% dmg buff when the enemy is stunned. My current build can hit for roughly 1.5 million on his ult. Building for his burst mode is gonna have a ton of diminishing returns. Giving him good stats is enough to make his burst mode really strong. Using sets and W-engines focused on boosting his ult will provide way better scaling (20% ult dmg buff from puffer, and 72% ult dmg buff from Street Superstar). His burst mode will basically be his last resort for damage. Use assists, parries, and chain attacks for the bulk of his damage due to the fact that it doesn't use his energy, but actually builds it. In this case, Nicole will provide the assist for you. As for Anton himself, you wanna aim for 2700 attack, at least 50% crit rate, and at least 150% crit dmg. Without Qingyi, you can expect to see around 1 million damage on his ult, around 120-200k on his chain attack, and around 6000 per tick on his drill, with around 20k per tick on his piledriver. B+ Unit in my books.
I wasn't really sure about building him but I did it anyway and now he's super strong. I use him with Qingyi and Nicole and he dishes out so much damage. In Hollow Zero with some buffs I even managed a 200k+ ult with him
@@untabomberman Qingyi Anton Nicole you should be using electroboo or plugboo to put shock on enemies, so Anton will get good uptime on his 4pcs Thunder Metal. That 28% atk is huge fyi.
great video! i have a question related to his disk drives i dont have rina so i currently run anton with both qingyi and nicole, with a 4p thunder metal would it be better to try and swap to a puffer electro set for this team in particular? since i dont have much uptime with shock
If uptime is the problem, even with an electric bangboo, then yes puffer would be the better choice as you're not reliant on the shock anomaly procs. You will see a slight decrease in dmg but you'll find that your dmg is also more consistent throughout the whole fight

This paired with 4 piece puffer electro, 2 piece woodpecker with street superstar as his W-engine. That with Qingyi and Rina in tow allows me to do around 1.5 million damage on his ult, and around 220k on his chain attack. He NEEDS that ult damage.

Doing so "cancels" the animation
i have rina, grace and anton team rn, i struggle with getting them stunts but get enemy shock is easy idk why damage is so low.
