Extremely offensive? The mind boggles how anyone can see breastfeeding anything other than feeding a baby, natural and beautiful, it’s madness.

People offended by breastfeeding are absolute idiots.

I totally agree with Virginia Blackburn . It's not just a body part .

It is. It's society's problem for treating it more than a body part.

There's a variety of covers out there. There's no excuse not ot cover or express. Breastfeeding mothers who have no regard for others comfort are selfish.

Selfish? The people who won't just look away are the selfish ones. I think a new mother has enough to worry about without having to worry about the sensitivities of onlookers who can so very easily turn away (or, if need be, close their eyes for a few minutes). Geez.
BTW, you might be interested to know that a baby's brain development starts with the gaze between the baby and the caretaker (often the breastfeeding mom, but it could be Grandpa or a babysitter with a bottle) holding the baby in their arms. That eye contact - that right to brain development - is taken away with demands that a mother "cover up."

@@greenhearted8453you cannot "just look away" when smn does something shocking and obscene and they're sitting right there. IF IT'S IN PUBLIC, PEOPLE ARE GOING TO SEE IT. YOU GUYS STOP, AND STOP TELLING US TO LOOK AWAY. and i AM a woman. There is NO excuse for such laziness, it's disgraceful. The baby will not suffer developmentally if it is on rare occasion, most nursing should be done privately in the safety of the home anyway not continually pushed on everyone and not safe anyway, it's very uncomfortable anyway for lots of ppl even with a cover.
