I bought the clear RhinoShield case with great anticipation of it being just like the other solid suit cases, and I will say I really am not a huge fan of the clear case as I am all of my other solid suit cases. It doesn’t really feel as snug as the traditional solid suit case. Probably won’t use it a lot but I have it nonetheless. I really enjoy your reviews!
i'm gone buy the 14 pro max, i was looking for a solid case which was at the same time keeping the design of the phone, so do you think that the clearly case protect a lot less than the classic rhino shield case ?
The lanyards are useful for festivals to prevent theft. I tend to just let go of my phone at a festival when I’m having fun so those would help me from losing my phone lol
I bought my Rhinoshield case iPhone 12 based on your amazing reviews last year Xmas. I love the customizable buttons and I use the small holes for a strap. I hate that it’s boring black, but the protection was crucial for this clumsy runner. The clear back holds my artwork just fine, but isn’t imprinted. I’ll get a clear one if it’s protection rivals this one. Don’t care for MagSafe.
Facts! I have one. This case is all hard plastic! It is super slippery but I think this is the second slipperiest phone after the Zagg Gear 4 clear case. Just a single drop and this case will become unusable for many because of the dents and scratches. I only use this case for occasions where I want to show off as it really brings out the beauty of the iPhone 13.
It's extremely clear very good for showing off your phone! i don't use magsafe so it doesn't bother me and i like my solidsuit so i'm happy about this as i have started to like clear cases more since i got my gold iphone 13 pro. being able change the colour of the camera square and buttons is also really handy if you get bored easily and like to change it up. My only gripes with this case is the front lip felt a bit rough like it's not finished off properly and it is really thick so it makes the phone feel quite big even compared to the solidsuit wich surprisingly doesn't increase the size that much. one last thing i personally don't think it's a slippy case to hold i've never felt like i was going to drop it however the solidsuit felt mega slippy when i first got it but once i got used to it that stopped i don't know if it's worn or if my grips changed but it feels a lot more grippy now.
How’s the case been so far right now? Any yellowing or scratches or noticed more slippery drops? I’m planning on getting this case for my 13 Pro but I’m still deciding
I'm really wanting to switch to iPhone when the 14 comes out. But the rumours of them removing the port altogether are starting to put me off. The main reason why is that I always assumed wireless charging is worse for your phone than wired charging. Mainly due to the inefficiency of it producing a lot more heat. Do you use only MagSafe to charge your phone? How long have you had your phone for and what's the battery health percentage at now?
I like the review but dislike the case. Based on your previous reviews I went with a Caudabe Sheath for my iPhone 13 Pro. 1 month and so far so good. 1 comment I have is that the Caudabe Sheath slightly interfered with the Flo-Lab screen protector (also purchased based on your reviews). With time the case has improved (relaxed??) and isn't lifting the top right edge of the screen protector any more (took about 5 days to work as intended which include pressing... "massaging/rubbing that corner of the screen protector to keep it stuck") . No drops as yet and no screen impacts or scratches this far. You haven't "influenced me" (as you are not influencers but are reviewers) but your review did provide me choices with data to make them. Keep up the great work!!!
MagSafe charger automatically stick to phone because of magnets. You don’t need any other case just a normal one. What does MagSafe mean is a how thick case is not a certified case.
I don't understand what Rhinoshield is doing. They NEED to release their cases with MagSafe options. What on earth are they waiting for.. MagSafe is about 2 years old..
I much prefer Casetify in terms of clear cases as they have a Magsafe option. As for customisation, I would still pick Casetify over Rhinoshield as Casetify have lots more varieties including collabs and the print on the case doesn't look "cheap". Also, the protection that Casetify gives my phone is pretty solid - dropped my XS many times the past 4 years due to butter fingers and not a single ounce of damage caused. I've since upgraded to the 13 Pro after the Alpine Green was released and am still waiting for my Casetify to arrive so am using the Apple Magsafe clear case as an interim option (got it secondhand for a fraction of the original price) but have been super careful with it. Still love the review overall tho! :)
@@Paa375 Yes thats the only downside. I stay in Singapore and it takes close to a month for it to arrive so I would have to get an interim case regardless as I don't like using my phone without a case on.
Casetify is nice - i just dont like their obnoxious branding on the camera ring and the designs of their cases overall. But I’ve seen nice collabs and art.
Casetify cases are rubbish quality. They start bending over taking it on and off and their sides start coming off due to the cheap glue. Also the sides become less rugged and soft overtime. These issues have occurred within a year. NOT WORTH THE HIGH PRICE. My mous case is going strong after 4 years.
I bought one a quickly returned it. Taking it off was a pain in the butt and case maintains a hard edge to it which makes it uncomfortable to hold on the 13Pro
Please review the snap on MagSafe caps from spigen that make almost any case have MagSafe, I think esr makes it too but I need a trusted reviewers opinion
The cases for Android sucks. They have cool designs but if you get the solid suit the case feels like it will slip out of your hand. The solid suit one litteraly has no grip to it at all do hopefully the clear designs are better.
would the rhinoshield bumper on an iphone 13 mini be sufficient, want all the magsafe benefits but not a full case, using a mous limitless on my iphone 11, only dropped it from my pocked twice and face id no longer works.
I had full case from Rhinoshield. Now it looks like trash. Colour white, if you buy it will have scratched back because it is plastic made. Clear case is a normal 5 dollar clear case. I have bought Spigen. Company is in France also. The thing is they only repackage from their harbour to you when it comes from CH. As I believe this product isn’t French but it’s a bought project. I paid around $60 back then and I’m clearly not happy. I disagree on throwing with phone having this shield. None apart from titanic shield I saw that cost is same as new iPhone will not protect your phone from few meters height on flat surface. Let’s have knowledge about cinematography. They show you throw and pick up the phone. No, they throw, change a cover, case and then show you phone from best possible angle. When you will lose buttons buying them again with delivery is just not worth at all. Buttons from them would cost me 5 and delivery is around 10 what means you have shield for that and for me I have free delivery. Depends on country. I will only add that none of cases barely will be useful in normal terrain like none flat surfaces where are rock etc.
Dropping your iphone at any height ISNT good for the inside tech at all every drop does do damage to your iphone breaks pixels and inside connections. Know that.
He realizes that - he’s been dropping them for reviews for years (not to mention he’s also an engineer). It’s part of what makes this channel and the reviews interesting; the real world unsponsored drop tests. He obviously has many iPhones for this purpose.
Now rhinoshield added Magsafe 🙌

Did you get one of these? did it yellow over time?
Love the honest review! I actually got it for the (hopefully) anti yellowing and the lanyard since I always drop my phone. It’s been alright so far!

Really like the video review...and Val's nails !!!! They are soooo cool and matches the retro pop vibes of the video!
Unfortunately I’m enslaved to MagSafe… the battery benefits and ease of use makes it a clear option opposed to cable charging

My biggest grip with clear cases is they tend to yellow really quickly and often scratch easier, too.
Also, why isn't Monte in this video? ☹️
He was there around 3:20
Just look out for materials. As long as it’s made of TPU, definitely will yellow. Hard PC? You are safe.
@@zacharysoe although pretty sure hard pc still yellows just not as fast
I’ll never buy a case without MagSafe.
L
Me too
Totally agree defeats the purpose of the phone having it if case won’t accept it
The apple cases are garbage. They keep slipping out and I don’t have any accessories that use MagSafe

Where’s the star? 🐾
So apple clear 12 vs apple clear 13. Are you saying that 13 is better?
A lot of stuff going on on Val's hands in this video☺
Not a big fan of clear cases overall, but the customization seems cool.

I’m surprised this company don’t do Magsafe cases!
Can you do a best screen protector video update for iPhone 13 pro max? Or just tell me the absolute best one ?
Val have so beautiful nails 😊👍🌹

Review the new uag plyo case it has improved a lot
TFS! Love the reviews!
Did you guys review the Zagg clear MagSafe case? I’ve had mine since September and still looks brand new no scratches Or yellowing

I don’t know till now why don’t they implement MagSafe. Isit a case problem? Lazy? Material issue? Sheesh.

@MobileReviewsEh What case would you recommend that’s clear instead that will protect the phone better on front drops?
Does this protection have more fingerprints in the use than solid suit or less ??
Is there a MagSafe case that offers customizable/changeable buttons?
Is the side of the case flexible tpu? If its flexible it will turn yellow on ageing
Please review Casely cases
I would get it if they put MagSafe in the case
Do u review Android phones
is it bad that i dont even use a case lol
