I completely agree with you about the Otterbox Symmetry cases which is why my 14 Pro is wearing the Defender Series for the first time since the iPhone Xr. The Defender cases have a locking front ring around the phone and allow the installation of a screen protector. The Camera bump protector extends about the surface of the camera lenses and the case is both light and has textured grip panels down the sides as part of the design. Add in that here in Australia it's cheaper to import the Defender series over the Casetify and for me the choice was easy. I was suprised to not see it in your lineup.
Recommendation for future videos: Rate the strength of the MagSafe. I recently bought a Casetify Ultra Impact for my iPhone 12 pro max, but I returned it because the MagSafe for my Popgrip wasn't very good. I bought the Mous Limitless 4.0 (no clear color, unfortunately), and the MagSafe is much stronger and more reliable.
PhoneRebel has some super strong magnets! I have the PhoneRebel Flex Case and it’s amazing! I love being able to feel the phone but I also use a Magnetic Popsocket and it’s never fallen off. Ever.
I still think the Mous one should be ranked lower because of that camera protection, still have my camera scratched because of that 😔, the catalyst one is surely a must! Don’t get me wrong it’s so beautiful (the Mous one, specially the iridescent), but the drop protection… well that’s a problem. Really love your videos m8, you’re the only one resting all of the products, keep it up!

I'm sure other brands have surpassed them by now, but I still feel like the designs they offer for their SolidSuit line are among the most aesthetically pleasing.

Did you test any ESR clear cases? If so, what is your opinion of them? I currently like the ESR Classic Hybrid clear case and like it so far. I’d like to know your thoughts though as I value your opinions
My biggest problem with cases like the otterbox symmetry, uag plyo, etc, the seam. Comes apart after a year or less. Up until iPhone 7 I never had cases fall apart the way they do now.
I personally loved the Lifeproof cases especially the Next case with the clear back to show my iPhone off because I agree the worst thing you can do is get a colered iPhone and cover it up. In your opinion what case can I get that is very similar to the lifeproof next case since they don’t make them anymore?
The Rhinoshield screen protector doesn't work with the Ghostek Covert case. At least it didn't for me. The case would push in on the edge of the screen protector and cause it to lift off.
@@peaupi not at all, which is probably why it wasn’t in the top 10. It has slightly larger corners and little edges to keep the back of the iPhone off the table. The buttons are pretty nice. I’m surprised based on the cost (under $30)

I feel like you could split these cases into two category’s. Rugged and simple. I love my clear cases but hate the bulky ones. I’ve been using my Ringke Fusion clear matte case for over 2 years and can honestly say it’s the best simple clear case I’ve come across so far

Thanks for this video. I went with the Catalyst. I love the grip, the texture, and the ability to put a loop on any of the four corners. Plus it looks good! I was turned off by the shiny look of Mous, and the branding on the camera area from Casetify.
Have you tried the Nomad rugged case yet? I got this one and I’m curious if it’s protectiveness it’s rated for 15 feet and it’s super comfy in the hand, I just don’t want to test it’s protection myself 😅😅😅
Is it just me or are both phone cases and phone case reviews (generally) way too focused on drop protection? There’s a buttload of people like me who just need scratch protection and very minor drop protection if any. That’s why I’m glad he focuses not just on drops but on button feel, grip, practicality, etc.
After a lot of thought and analysis (WAY TOO MUCH) I decided to go with the 14 pro max. If the ultra comes out next year and is so much better I’ve decided I’ll give the 14 to one of my children. My question is this. I want a clear case that offers the most protection also around the camera, MagSafe and if possible can lay flat. I’ve looked at your past videos and didn’t see where this got updated. Also wondered if some of these clear cases that people are recommending for 15’s are available for 14 pro max. Just want your take if something that meets my criteria came out after this video. Thank you so much for your help.

I bought the Casetify impact version with the clear snake skin (SEXY) and the magnet is very strong. You might have gotten a defective case?

PhoneRebel has some super strong magnets! I have the PhoneRebel Flex Case and it’s amazing! I love being able to feel the phone but I also use a Magnetic Popsocket and it’s never fallen off. Ever.

Sporting the Apple clear case, it’s not bad. Just didn’t want to deal with a cheaper case, my old Spigen case was garbage.
I’m having a tough time choosing between the Caudabe Sheath (since the veil isn’t MagSafe), totallee, and the Catalyst Influence.
