What level do you have the skids arms set at?

Hi, I was wondering if you ever used the mulch blades on your flail mower. I noticed in an earlier video of your that you were using Y blades. I just purchased the same flail mower as yours today and I'm awaiting its delivery. Are you using Y blades to cut this field? I ask the questions because I'm debating if I should purchase mulch blades or not. Be well from NB Canada.

I’m not sure what you mean by mulch blades. I have the “y” blades on and the only other ones I knew were available were the hammer blades. I have found that the y blades do a pretty nice job on corn stalks, sunflowers heads and stalks and general garden clean up. They also mow pretty good. If the mower is tilted back the material gets really shredded as it is tossed at round inside the mower. You just don’t want to back up into stuff as that tends to burn the belts.

@@LancoAmish Thanks for the input. On the 105 Flail they refer to the mulch blade as a smaller and lighter version of the hammer which is only sold on the Betssco Medium and heavy duty models. Once again love your videos and be well from Atlantic Canada.
