Hi Sir, d ko pa po na test ung ax3 pro, medyo busy lately, kaya d ko masagot regarding sa coverage nun, the rt-59u v2 is good, nag penetrate po sya in between 2 concrete walls.. but it still depends on the structure po ng bahay.. you mention na may wifi6 devices po kayo, hmm.. for me wifi 6 routers are better, in terms of ofdma+MuMimo, and ma utilize mo ung wifi 6 capabilities pag wifi 6 din ung mga devices mo.. kaya lang unfortunately d ko pa po ma suggest ung ax3 pro, d ko pa na test po kasi.. :)
hi sir, gusto ko po malaman kung pwede pong mag limit ng bandwidth/internet speed sa specific device. for example po 1 device lang po ang gusto ko ilimit ang dl speed?

Hi Mark, d ko pa na test ung Deco, pero since mesh system habol mo, i might not actually recommend ung AC59u V2, i have issues with its mesh capability, like slower speed from a node compare from the main node. i have a mercusys mesh system pero d ko pa na review.. sorry cant help decide kung anung mesh system good for now.. :)

Hi, i have not used the ax1800 yet, but i believe it should be better since it is already wifi 6, but to take the advantage of wifi 6 router, your devices should also be capable of wifi 6. the thing that you are paying for ASUS is reliability. if you want somthing reliable the ASUS router, if you want wifi 6 from ASUS it will cost you more.. :)
@@JKChavez i ended up buying this asus router because the latest wifi version we have at home is up to wifi 5 only. I'm a beet hesitant with AX1800 because it only has 2 built in antenna. Thank you.

1. ung actual internet speed mo from internet service provider coming from their modem-router is the max speed you will obtain.
2. ung router might help your internet speed via wifi if pangit ung performance ng internet speed mo from the stock modem router
3. try to check kung anu actual internet speed mo using the lan cable to your computer, then check mo internet speed, then try mo compare sa wifi naman from the stock modem-router. if malayo difference better add a new router..

Hi John, not possible po, usually ung mga provided ni internet service provider is Modem-router, while yung mga router na nasa review ko po is just router, walang modem capability.. :)

Hi John, currently naka mesh node sya sa akin, pero for doublenat, wala ako issue for now, usually na eencounter ko un with gaming console.

Hi Debbie, for me asus ac59u v2, one of the reason is madalang na ako nag rereview ng tplink, because have 3 tplink routers before and walang maganda sa kanila, but if you still opt for tplink the one i can suggest is archer c7 lang for tplink.. :)

Hi Patrick, d ko pa natest yan, pero all the modem i have encountered from pldt and converge, mas malakas and mas okay mag add ng third party router. then with the issue na na didisconnect, if more users need bigger memory sa router and better processor, hindi po irereplace ung stock modem-router, yung mga nirereview ko po sa channel is just a wifi router and you still need the stock modem po.. i think get a better router to have better wifi

Dear sir JK . have po ako question about this unit tama naman po ang set up ko but the problems is LAN PORT nya to laptop wala po ang internet Using Lan Port pero pag wifi may internet connection po phone and laptop
Mau blue light naman po sa units para doon light indicator na Gumagana ang saksakan nnag LAN wala lang talaga internet sumasagap pag lan Cable to laptop . How to fix po sana may makapansin
Hi Xhik, have you check network connection kung meron talaga syang connectivity via lan?
click on windows icon> run > type "ncpa.cpl" check mo muna po kung may actual connection sya via lan.. additional check ung settings ng asus router mo baka may settings ka before na nakalagay sa mac filtering.. :)

Mag penetrate kaya sa concrete floor ng second floor namin yung main 1st AC59u router kung nasa first floor papunta sa 2nd AC59u router na plano ko ilagay sa second floor?
Hi Klutz, it depends po from one house to another, baka mas makapal ung flooring nyo compare sa amin, pero sa amin kaya naman from second floor to roofdeck, concrete flooring, pero since i wireless mesh mo sila, makes sure na maganda ung nasasagap nung second node, or advice ko is if kaya, make sure they are align, or on directly on top if possible.

Hi Neil, yung stock router po is usually a modem-router, while ung rt-ac750l is a wifi router lang po, you can add it po to your network, pero hindi replace ung stock modem-router.. :) will try to acquire that model and test ko din siguro.. :)

Ask ko lang po sana if ano pinaka sulit at masa-suggest mong router sakin under PhP2500 budget? May 35mbps internet speed po ako ni converge pero walang 5Ghz, 2.4ghz lang po. Hindi ko po kasi alam kung ano maganda router kung tplink, linksys, xiaomi, tenda, etc. Sana po matulungan niyo ako. Nagloloko na yung router ni converge. Gagamitin lang ng mga kapatid ko for online class.

Hi Gab, kung ung issue lang po kay converge is ung wifi capability nya, okay po na bumili kayo ng router to add to your converge modem-router. kung maganda and brand specific, ASUS ac86u, ac88u etc.. if for budget and performance, tenda ac5 v3 and tenda ac23, okay din ung ac11 kaya lang chinese version pa land din ung na test ko.. :) okay din tong ac58u, kaya lang lagpas 2,500 na po.. :)
@@JKChavez possible po kaya na magkaroon ako mg 5g kapag nag ac23 ako kahit sa original ko kay converge is 2.4g lang? Naka 35mbps naman po kami di ko alam bakit walang 5g tong converge.
Hi Gab, yes po, ung 2.4ghz and 5ghz ay frequency po from the router itself, si ac23 po dual band, kaya automatically may 2.4ghz at 5ghz ka po.. :)

Hello po. Pag mag avail po ako ng wifi router tapos nasa 5mps yung na avail namin na internet pero around 3mbps lang nakukuha namin during speed test sa stock modem router. Will that wifi router or any wifi router increase the speed and reach 5mbps?
Hi JN, it could, pwede kasing wifi capability nung main modem-router nyo issue, try to connect to modem-router muna via lan cable using laptop or destop, then do some speed test, pag na hit mo 5 mbps via lan cable, then adding a wifi router can definitely help you..

Yes sir dapat po, na setup ko na akin.. And lumilipat sya automatic to the nearest node.. Pero nababagalan ako sa handshake.. Testing mode ko la din.. Isang problem ko sa node na toh naka rekta sa smart tv ko, pero and speed nya pumapalo lang ng 50mbps.. While pag nah speedtest ako sa phone via wireless. Pumapalo ng 65mbps++

Hindi dapat.. Weird lang sa ac59u, sa asus blue cave router ko consistent lan and wifi, even on tenda ac23 and xiaomi 4a consistent.. Check ko pa kung bakit ganito tong ac59u.. :)

Hi Jay, one thing to consider is ung internet service provider po, ung reliability ng internet nila, i have tested from the cheapest on my test Mercusys MW305r less than 1k and single digit ping most of the time, dapat malapit nga lang.. the AC5 v3 and ac23 are also good. while this ac59u is good as well and it is an ASUS product medyo mahal compare sa ac5 v3 and ac23...

Hi, sir! ano po kayang problem kung bakit bumabagal gradually yung download speed ko pag nagdodownload ng files from 1mbs to avg. 250kbps na lang then stuck na siya dun kaya sobrang bagal ng download and upload speed ko. Dati po kasi hindi ganun yung download speed and upload speed ko. consistent naman pong 25mbps yung speed test ko. Dahil po ba sa router namin yun? papalitan ko po ba?
Hi Lawrence, have you tried downloading on laptop\desktop with a lan cable, pwedeng issue din kasi ung site na pinagdownloadan mo.. try to check other sites if same issue yung download speed mo po..
Kapag ba nakakabit na sya sa main router, same speed lang ba makukuha nya kung sa 5Ghz bandwidth ako ko-connect? I'm just curious lang. Nagbabalak bumili.

@@JKChavez pinanuod ko lahat ng review mo sir. Mag Tenda AC23 nalang po ako, okay speedtest nya at di nabitaw kahit malayo na sa bahay, tutal nasa center location naman ako ng mga tambayan at kainan at ang layo lang ng kanto is 50 meters. Ilagay ko nalang sa bintana yung AP.

Hi po si JK! Question lang po pano po madidisable po yung ssid ng stock router leaving the router working po. I tried disabling po the stock wifi through lan admin pero pati po sa router nawalan po ng connection. Pano po ba madidisable yung sa stock leaving the router open for wifi?

Hi sir, hindi dapat totally ma disable ung main router mo, ang need mo lang po i disable is yung sa WLAN, uncheck nyo po ung "Enable WLAN"

Hi Gary, sa akin hindi masyadong ramdam, i think maganda ung facility ng ISP namin sa area, when playing ML using the stock modem on our bedroom, usually 2 digit latency and sometimes may spike, which for me playable pa din sobra ung 2 digits, just for comparison lang pag gamit ko toh, most of the time single digit latency and may instance na double digit around 20ms.. pero bumabalik din agad sa single digit.. then another concern is the range, for me mas malayo or mas malawak ung coverage na sakop nitong router na to compare sa stock modem-router ni converge.. kaya for me i really recommend an additional good router.. it can be this ASUS or other brands, depends on the needs..

Hi John, for me the AC59u v2, medyo trauma na kasi ako sa routers ng tplink na na test ko na,before pa ako mag review, pero one of the best router ni tp-link na kaya ko i suggest is the archer c7.. :)

@@elchardjohnpikesantos3615 3 routers different model na test ko before, hindi tumatagal ng 1 year, then may isang router na advertised as wall breaker with high gain antennas pa, which is napaka minor ng range improvement, then ung isa naman at least once a month nawawala config.. :( yan po, kaya d na ako kumuha ng mga tplink for now to test,

Hi, i cant really say, but one of the reason thay i bought this v2 is for its AImesh function, but so far im not satisfied, it is not working as intended.. and the support is terrible, and i gave up on how they support the customer. but as router i think it is a good router for its price range since it is ASUS..

@@rmcf3972 Hi RM, this was way back before, it was not working smoothly as an AI Mesh, my transition from one node to another it would take time like 5 minutes or more if i move to other nearest mode. but i believe there was an update, then up to this day it is working fine and still using it as an AI Mesh node.. :)

Ito pong pinanood nya ac59u v2, good naman sya.. Ganyan nag range ung mga good router from asus.. If mas mura, sa tenda po ac23, ac5 v3.. All good for gaming po yan, sa asus din..

Hi Fhon, d ko pa po na test i bridge, baka this weekend i test ko, ang sakit sa ulo ng mesh config nito, hindi tumutuloy smoothly mga 2 hours trial and error ako kaya d ko muna i test ung bridge mode.. main Mesh router ko is Asus Blue cave.. :)

Hi maam, okay naman sya, pero mataas tendency na d mo maabot ung 800mbps even on 5ghz. pero even though d mo maabot ung 800mbps on this router it is a goo budget router from ASUS po..
if kaya naman ng budget, get at least ax/ac1800++ or even a ax/ac3200 routers po..
compare this router with other router range ? and i found if on right side back antenna is bend full back on right side right antenna is bend, range of 2.5gz increases !
