100% have the ECU tuned, wakes the ZX4RR so much along with a full flowing exhaust. Im running against A group riders on liter bikes at Buttonwillow, the ZX4 holds up well on tight tracks with a couple straight lines! Havent had this much fun since my Daytona 675. Super flickable
The CBR650R with the new e-clutch will be an amazing motorcycle and a game changer for those who ride a lot in traffic. CBR660R=96 HP ZX-4RR=76 HP with flash. Both bikes like to rev out and they both sound great with aftermarket exhausts. Here in Canada the ZX-4RR 40th anniversary costs $12,500 🤯🤮😳 while the CB650R costs $11,200. Definitely the ZX-4RR is really overpriced for a 400cc motorcycle. Not sure yet which one I'm going to choose as my first sport motorcycle.
It’s not bad no, but bc I had the old zx4rr dyno tuned it’s definitely slow to me That will change soon though It’s still an awesome bike for anyone wanting to learn on
Mines all stock, had it for a year. Have almost 12k on it. Love it. I’m under no illusions, I know it’s not fast. It will never be fast just quick. It’s definitely fast enough to decimate traffic in stock form and extremely fast enough once you get in the twistys.
@@pandemonikussuperbus4590 In restricted stock form, it’s not going much faster than 193kph, I’ve tested that. If it goes faster, it’s going to take a while to get there. It doesn’t have rip your arms off speed like a 1000 and you’ll never drop a gear and go. A 600 should be much faster. But if the road is twisty and doesn’t have much straights, it’s fast enough that I don’t get left behind my buddies V4RS.
@@Elvis_not_Presley2 american restrictions....got it.well here in europe if you put a descent filter a full exhaust and a reflashed ecu it can reach a speed of 250 to 260 km.that pretty good
I had a Z900. The think I like abut this one is you are not having to excessively break the speed limit to get that sweet high revving 4 cylinder sound out of it. The Z900 didn't rev out as much as my ears thought it should so I was constantly hitting the rev limiter. LOL
I only got mine delivered days ago and the zx6r literally arrived Saturday at dealer (40th anniversary bikes talking about). I can't wait to start riding it properly. I am a very experienced rider who has had several 150 hp+ SS bikes in the past, but when Kawasaki announced the ZX-4RR I became instantly interested. I was able to do a relatively extensive demo ride of the 4RR and found that it is a must have bike for me.
@@Yesitsqk That's good to know. I really like 4RR in stock form, but a ECU upgrade is certainly welcomed. I'd likely install the Akrapovic full system as well. @@MehmetFES Keep in mind the price tho, if you're a starter i'd get a cbr500r, since the zx4rr is in the 600cc price range. Otherwise in my opinion i'd get the 650r considering the power and it's not too heavy.
