Babak Rad , I don’t believe you understand gravity of loosing Nuclear deterrence. We are surrounded by enemies who are spending much larger amount of money in military hardware and have access to all kind of advanced weapons. They are all backed by US military. if all of USA allies had the balls to say they are self-sufficient , powerful enough to survive on their own, USA wouldn't have been the greatest power in the world, we allow them to be that power. Dear Dr Zarif. The reason Sadam husein attacked iran was unstable condition of Iran. Don’t forget how iranian revolution weakened the powerful army of Iran. How revolution weakened Iran relationship with the neighbors and western countries. We occupied their embassies and then they support Sadam.
