I have like 6 of these and they are great. But I feel they really come alive with their latest Cab Sim pedal the AMT U2 Pangea Última. That thing is amazing !!!
Hello, did you made contact with the manufacturer to be able to tell that it’s full tube circuit in preamp mode and hybrid in drive mode? I ask ´cause I bought an used A-bass on the local classifieds and disassembled it to take a look. Unfortunately, I am not enough knowledgeable to determinate the actual signal path! Lots of surface mounts components… I understand that there is some SS devices in the power supply but I am curious to know if the circuit is an authentic clone of the Alembic FB-2. By authentic, I mean without solid state devices in the audio path. Thanks!
