【Metroid】The Original 1986 NES Game, Ported to The SNES

I've been intending to replay the Metroid series for a while now and live-stream Metroid Dread for fun. I never got around to this. Fast forward I thought Metroid Prime 4 was vaporware. Turns out it isn't, and is actually coming out. Considering this revelation, I'm starting my Metroid Series Replay.

I'm pretty sure that Metroid 2 has energy and missile chargers, they're just not super frequent

What's the name of this version? I've been wanting to try the original metroid and this seems to straddle the line the best between comfortable to play and authenticity

Samus returns was great, you are just a hater.

lol. The same studio who made Samus Returns made Metroid Dread, and they fixed 90% of my complaints in Dread by slightly modifying things that desperately needed to be modified to be good.
I should do a deep dive of why Samus Returns misses the point in the ending though, because that's an artistic blunder.
