I too ended up putting the metal plate directly onto my case as opposed to the phone. It's a very good mount. I'd highly recommend it. The only problem I had was reading the tiny print on the instructions. But I'm older so there's that. lol.
Just purchased the MagicMount Pro today. Instructions were fair. Loved your video. It's good seeing different scenarios for placement and what to look for. Thanks
No worries! Was your dashboard textured or curved? I tried it on the dash for a bit (mine has a little bit of texture but it was fine, I moved it to the window because I have a dash mat which I didn't want to get rid of so I moved the mount to the the window. This was the bigger mount I am talking about. As for the small mount it has stuck on really good, the place where I put it was smooth though.
I have found that using the suction cup lever on the larger version is a bad idea. It raises the center part of the sticky mount reducing the sticky part surface area by 50%. This gives less sticky surface area to hold the phone. With my phone attached, the mount falls off the surface.
She's in Australia and everything is upside down there so it just looks like the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Flip the car right-side-up and Bob's your uncle.
YOU are not using the magnet correctly the side with the tape should be facing the back of your phone and the smooth side on the mount. That could cause it to not be strong enough
living in florida where is so hot all year long is not easy to glue things on the wind shield, using ac vents in my car to hold mounts do not work at risk to drop a $900 device and my car dashboard is not a flat surface so the only solution is a magnetic holder but not glue directly to the phone but to the case thank you
@@Grave_Hunter_of_Aus what do you think the shop does with the product you ruined? Just think for a moment. They sell it at a loss or throw it in the bin. Think before buying something.

Hi I liked the review! I do have a question for you how good is the car mount??
Thanks! It's good, I didn't have any issue with it, it's nice an sturdy.
How to screw the ball part?
hi, how long it keep that strong magnet power?
I used heavy scotch tape on the outside of the case for my magnet. Easy peasy.
Thank for the video
What if you use both magnets 🤔
Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side of your car😕?
Haha I'm in Australia.
Because their toilets flush the wrong direction.
SamCambetis hi from Australia also. 😋
ooohhhhhhhhhh😮

After a long time 😉
I bought a new phone. How do I remove the metal plate? So tight
This video is so dumb. For max magnetic power, you need to have those magnetic plates on the OUTSIDE of the case.

wireless charger
this is my concern
Once you stick the metal plate on your phone it will block the wireless charger signal. 😩

Try this.
Why not just attach the magnet to the back of the case? Smh.
Idk, maybe it could get knocked of easier
You left out so many steps
Do you know that is for the windshield of your car 😂😂😂
If you came back to my shop with an item that you just put your fingers all over, I'd tell you to get lost without a refund. Annoying woman shoppers.
Why so rude? 🤨 I didn't return the mount, I just purchased another one for your information.

@@SamCambetis did the shop lose the sale or did you pay for two whole products? Be honest.
@@StuartOswald I purchased two products.
fuck you and your shop
