Mine did the same thing! Are the 3M strips in your links like a plastic velcro? If so, after adhering your mount to the dash and placing your phone on the mount will it move around if you drive over speed bumps?
2 years and no reply is annoying. So I bought the black command strips and those Velcro ones, don’t really fit very flush like a regular, thin command strip.
Well, I loved your video. It was honest. Im on my second one of these and to be honest, Its not worth a pinch of shit. I took the first one back today because it wouldn't work and he gave me the one that he said would stick to my windscreen. All well and good but I couldnt tighten the thing enough to hold the phone. At first I took a dislike to it but now I have grown to fucking hate it. I wont even take it back tomorrow. Ill just throw it out and buy a normal suction cap one. Dont waste your money folks. Dont waste your time.
Magnet too weak. Galaxy s23 falls off over bumps. if you don't stick the plate on outside of case and everything, it doesn't have enough strength. Now I have a stuck plate on my phone and it barely holds on still. Magnets need an upgrade.
I put my heat on high and really warmed up the adhesive before putting it on and works like a charm
using a lighter on the adhesive works just as well

nice thing about using the 3m is its removable when you sell the car. so you don't have the eye sore on the dash. IMO
Someone may talk on her phone alot while driving. hee hee hee! The hack is really cool..may be using it myself. Good review. Thx
There are suction cup versions of these magnet mounts that work well attached to the front windshield. No command strips required.
Hey can you link me this command strip. I bought this mount and I need it.
RaZa Haider i dont use command strips. I use a suction cup version that attaches to the windshield. Works much better.

I have a samsung note 9. I'm not sure if I should use it because it has QI wireless. I heard the magnets can harm it.
I bought one such kind (exactly the same) in Walmart and there were no two plates in the pack. Just the mount magnet. Sad...
Great hack! Subscribed :)
excellent video!! do you think it could hold a light portable cd player?
I'd say with the newer one (just bought one myself) that it would have enough power in the magnet to do the job.
Does the magnet destroye the phone

I’m sorry but I tried command strips and it totally did not work for my car.
