I had a standard which I bought 2nd hand , it was one of the best lp style guitars I've had . Stupidly, i traded it on a custom shop strat . Daft . Need to get another. Great guitars.
The font on the custom headstock is so much better I wished they used it in their standard models and maybe excluded the arrow thing like Gibson does with the split diamond
I recently bought the standard and I had tried the custom core, and I found that I like the standard better. It sounded a little more rich and classic whereas the custom core was a little bright for me, but it was still a fantastic instrument and either way anybody would go, they would win.
Interesting comparison. Essentially the custom shop is not worth the upgrade, but if you're out for an H150 and money is no issue it's probably a better choice About the accoustic qualities of the custom shop, I believe it's mostly the metals and bridge that does it rather than the wood. About the plugged sound I believe it's only the pickups. I have gibson les paul which are most of the times less trebly compared to heritage guitars, but I've bought some PAFs and 50s wiring that make the guitar very single coil like. Essentially I plug in my super bright tele and my gibson without changing settings on my victory v40d and that says something I gyess
the standard sounds better to my ears the sound has a more wood tone, the custom sounds warm but has a lot less of the sound of wood. optically I choose the custom in terms of sound for the standard.
Michigan made. Very nice. Strings are top wrapped on the Heritage Custom Goldtop.

Really dig both. Heritage is really doing amazing things these days!
I totally agree, haven’t played a bad one
the custom shop is bright with great ring, the regular is beautifully warm. Notice the difference in height on the tailpieces.

The custom core sounds better to my ears? More sustain, brighter, clearer and snappier. Aesthetically your standard, is really beautiful.

Essentially most of the custom shop / vintage repros of G style guitars will go for that bright tone old PAFs have
Need these answers! Thanks
I just bought my first Heritage H-150 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love the intro song, where can I hear it or learn to play it?
I just heard of Heritage. I looked into them. Not only are they great instruments they have a cool history. I wonder if they could do a Silverburst.
I prefer a curvier carve.
I think your guitar had a bit more spank with both pickups on. Could be just me though.
They're so good I had to have two
Killer demo track! Great sounding guitars.
Thanks!
Music notes?? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🙏🏻
