    On day 3 of my 21 day fast --- did you run the marathon in the same year out of curiosity? I personally would like to do an Ironman challenge next year after the fast.

      Congrats on day 3! The first 3 days are the hardest. I did it the same year but I ran the marathon 10 months after the fast. The best way to do it would be lose the weight from the fast transition to a healthy diet and train for marathon / ironman for 3 months, then do it. My marathon would of been much easier if I had lost more weight.
