I have the Lumix S5. I wish there was a video like this one for that camera. Yeah, I know the AF on the S5 is not great, but there must be a work-around to utilize it better.
Thanks for the vid! Is it possible to separate photo/video mode? I would like to turn off the “Mode2” constantly focusing on the photo side but leave it on for video. I find there is a greater of the focus system missing because I’m not in complete control. I would like to be able to be in continuous AF and only focus when I press the AF button. Thanks!
Thank you. How do near shift and far shift in autofocus work with the settings you talk about. I only have the SII manual which talks about it (camera order has been placed).
Ah, I missed the opportunity entirely. I'd really love to see a proper, technical deep dive into picture profiles. What they actually technically do, why some have different ISOs, what they're intended for, advantages, disadvantages, examples, comparisons...
William Schiesl Here is an idea to use to try an figure out AF Custom Settings. Find a UA-cam video with multipe birds flying and set up camera to take picures of the the birds flying while varing settings in set 1 to set 4.

Thanks. Love it. Going out now but will return and watch this THROUGH it's entirety.
Keep this up .... anything to do with the LUMIX s5ii. Cheers!
While we are away from the studio. 👀
