Always buy books from charity shops. Thomas Ligotti: Noctuary, bought for 50p worth £50. First edition Perdido Street Station bought for £1 worth over a hundred quid. Every Jack Reacher novel I've ever read, love them but I wouldn't buy them new.
You remind me of me 10 years ago. Good luck fella, it will be hard work and dedication to make a living out of selling books. If you are single and ond on the doll then maybe it will help
You can't get a paperback in a charity shop for less than a quid where I live 😫 but yes the upside is I don't have a house full of books!
