Hey D Smoove what's up? I am a new DJ myself from Maryland -- DJ E.J.
Also just like you, I started DJing since the pandemic in 2020. Before the pandemic, I used to just play around DJing for fun. But when the pandemic began, I took it more seriously. Now, I am very interested in starting a DJ business. I am interested in doing all events such as weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events.
What kinds of events do you think I should start off with first?
Where can I find DJ network events?

What’s up DJ E.J! These are excellent questions! I’m Proud of you!
If I were you, I would do all events you can get your hands on. This will help you get familiar with the scene and get you live reps. The more reps, the better.
For networking, I recommend checking out facebook first. Look to see if there’s an established dj community in your area. Maybe searching for an example: “DJ network of Maryland” if you don’t find anything, then try searching the same thing in Google.
