Movement in general is more wobbly, I’ve never felt as comfortable in cs2 as i did in csgo

valve valorantifying cs. removing content for the sake of esports/competitive play. the movement added an extra mechanical layer to cs and created thriving sub communities.
but how is for the sake of esport and competitive play if you take away hard to learn but rewarding skills?

It should be imo
Bhopping is a skill greatly important to CS and has many years of history behind it. The movement aspect of the game is one of the biggest reasons it is so loved and changing/restricting what's possible with said movement is a terrible idea. Having great movement gave you an advantage but it was NEVER an unfair advantage since anyone could learn how to do it. Without Bhopping CS is not CS...

I think there is something wrong in the map editor, there are some random spots on flat surfaces where the playerbody gets stuck while moving and grenades also stuck in some nonsens pixel cs:go was wayyyy smother just talking about surfaces
I swear Robin was one of if not the only pro player at the start when the game wasn’t even released saying how the movement felt pretty close to how it did in CS:GO?
Even if so, when the game is in early access the criticism should be toned down, as the game is obviously going to be imperfect, and he could have just meant that it's close enough for now, so people aren't scared of how different cs2 will be, or to give the devs the benefit of the doubt.
When it's many months into the release, and nothing is done about the movement whatsoever, that's when it actually becomes a problem...
So basically movement that isn't quite there but close enough is good for early access, but terrible for almost a year into full release

Removing bhopping is removing a huge part of CS’s history which was a big thing long before cs2. All of CS been going downhill for years that’s why I stopped playing a long time ago

Missing content sucks so hard. I wanted to surf the other day and I literally couldnt figure out how. Do custom servers even exist? 1v1, aim maps, kz, surf, all gone for almost a year now?
Skill issue if you can’t bhop in cs2 also make sure you have that weird double jump command thing

I can't believe it. This alone makes ropz say CS2 as a whole sucks? I couldn't disagree more. Movement might have been nerfed, but it is still a huge part of skill expression in CS. In my opinion, it's in the optimal place now.

I agree that the graphics of the game, and the graphics of the skins are especially outdated, but why make a new game with new code? Can't you just make the graphics normal for this game?
They had to make a new game with new code, you can’t just upgrade graphics on an engine that can’t handle it. But they could’ve easily remade CSGO, they have the old code and could easily replicate it. They’re just trying to be different, they’re changing the game the way they want. They should’ve let CSGO keep running for a full extra year and kept doing open/invite betas for CS2. They released CS2 unfinished and now only now are making it playable. It’s still nowhere near CSGO.
csgo source code got leaked and cheaters flooded the servers. more vulnerabilities were found from uploading graphic/nsfw images in game to ip grabbing.

That's not how tick rate works, and consistent bhops still took skill. Now it's purely luck. Still do able but not at a pro level. Removing something that existed for decades is a problem but it wasn't intentional. It's a pain in the ass to fix though.
