I remember coming away from that Julie Christmas set, not only blown away by the performance, but being so overjoyed seeing Johannes giving a couple of kids on shoulders high fives at the end. It was incredibly touching. I didn't realise whose kids they were.
Better comment or Gav will tell me off 😅 best gig I've forgotten because i was too drunk was an Airbourne gig, i remember leaving and complaining that the singer never did his solo in the crowd that he always does, only for my girlfriends dad to assure me he did for about 15mins... oopsie daisy 🤦♂️great pod guys, keep up the great work!
Thank you for the first 52 episodes. The pod has become a regular event for me in my life, and I've loved seeing your dynamic grow from episode to episode. Here's to the next 52 episodes 🤘
Long time listener, first time commenter (sorry Gav!). I've absolutely loved this podcast in 2024, a real highlight of the week. As a dad of a similar age to you guys so many things have resonated with me while also being a fascinating insight into the promoting world and getting some great music recommendations as a bonus. You'll be pleased to know that Hatred For Mankind has been my most played album this year by a mile thanks to you. Can't wait for the live tour; I bought a ticket for Bristol the minute they went on sale, and also excited to attend both ATG and Damnation. Cheers to you both for the continued efforts you've put into this, and excited to see it continue. Happy New Year! We Go Again!
Awesome guys. Loved everyone. Just been in tears watching that, as always. Mayhem story had me crying. Cheers for the laughs and bring on the Birmingham show. As it’s Christmas, you never know eh… me and the Mrs booked Trees tickets on release day, for the first time on the back of this podcast. I was the first one to be pulled out of the Kofi hat and cheekily asked for a backstage tour, but James laughed and fobbed it off, so I went for MH on the record add, which I added to Apple myself 😉… would he like to reconsider?, as there have been some banging requests / prices since 🤣
Best gigs in no particular order Chalk - Manchester Clipping. - Leeds Symmetry recordings - London Julie Christmas - Leeds Three Trapped Tigers - ATG Honourable mention Thousands of cats - Tokyo Localize 1st Anniversary - Tokyo
I enjoyed this as always, as usual you're both shite at answering many questions 😂 You always make me laugh regardless of the topic and I'm looking forward to the live tour. 🤘🏼
As someone who's watched every episode on UA-cam, I usually go comment in the Facebook group rather than commenting here. I can post some shite here too though if it helps 😁
My top 5 sets this year has gotta be 5. Psychedelic porn crumpets at Leeds project house. 4. Nails - damnation (only because of that insane pit) 3. Sepultura farewell tour 2. Slipknot self. Titled anniversary tour. co-op live 1. DiS, Damnation

Superb. Thank you.
Best Christmas song is obviously 'Don't let the bells end - The Darkness'

The random buffering of Gav in a Santa hat 😂😂😂
Bri is a hero.
Top 3 live shows:
3. Creeper- 2000 Trees
2. Dragged into sunlight - Damnation
1. Sleep Token - Birmingham
Decent shouts. Creeper must've been very special to top Dragged.
Thanks for putting the time in chaps, loving this podcast. Looking forward to the Birmingham date of the tour.
Thanks for tuning in and the support.

Kind words, thanks.
Merry Christmas by Wesley Willis is the only acceptable Xmas song for me
Feel guilty that I’ve listened to every episode and never commented.
Boss this podcast.
Sorted.
Thank you sir.
The wee Santa pic of Gav and the buffering ended me 😂😂😂 well in
Bri is gonna Bri.
He's some man.

Now isn’t this just wonderful!
Thanks for your support, the kind words and for engaging. 👏

Your time will come again I'm sure mate, and GO BIG as James himself would say.
Or if you spot him at Trees, chance your arm.
Gav
@ ha. Will do 🤛
I'm the kofi sub who asked for a film review 😂
My kids want to see Moana 2 so thanks for the warning 😁
No problem! Ha.
Best gigs in no particular order

I've added a note to my phone to remind myself to ask James about the band he can't mention when you guys do the Gloucester show
A Bat Sabbath set at ATG would be immense. I'd be happy with a regular Cancer Bats set and think they would go down well imo.

What can we say? We get a little too invested at times.
Thanks for the support though.

The pod sauce is incredible.
Clearly gav will put st anger on his all time list
I would by the merch but the company you use rhe shirts are too tight bring back gildan
You just go a size up and enjoy the quality, not back to wearing dish towels with holes for arms.
And no one wants to hear about Celtic 😂
I’ll decide. 😂
