In my opinion, Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 are both fun in their own ways.
Tekken better
While SF6's quality pleasantly surprised me compared to 5, I grew up with Tekken and anticipated 8 for so long and it's just way too beautiful and better to me at least!
I'm now certainly playing tekken 8 more than street fighter 6

I think sf6 is a more digestable simple and widely appealing game. I think Tekken 8 is just a more diverse and uniquely deep game. Each has their own strength. I think Tekken is better overall to anyone who has a devotion to the genre. Street Fighter always felt like a great simple entry title. This one still holds true to that.
You have it backwards. For over a decade, Tekken has almost always had a bigger casual fanbase than SF. The same holds true for T8 and SF6. Tekken has more things to master overall for sure, but you aren't forced to learn these systems as much as SF to have fun.
In other words, button mashing is way more successful in Tekken. Street Fighter has a smaller movelist but that doesn't make it an easier entry title.
Nah street fighter is more diverse and unique there haven’t been any open world in a fighting game like street fighter or character customization with it, tekken 8 feels like tekken 7 but smoother

Impossible to answer cuz those 2 games are total banger
- wholesome and kickass characters (Ed and JP for SF6 and Victor Chevalier with Reina for Tekken 8 are my favorite characters from those 2 games)
- soundtrack: this round i give the success to SF6 (the song König oder Feigling for Ed are simply another level. But for Tekken 8 Twilight Party Cruise the Seine stage are the greatest ost from the game)
- bad guy: JP are a new one and he didn't disappoint me (under his polite behavior he's a complete demon) for Tekken 8 it's again Kazuya it's just like Tekken 2 . So the point are for SF6

though vega and other characters are missing in SF6, still I prefer SF6 than Tekken 8. , Tekken 8 fighting visuals are so common in my eyes infact I prefer Dead or Alive 6 than Tekken 8, (if you know you know)
They made the characters in Street Fighter 6 look way better then they was in 5 same with Tekken 8 they made them look better then they was in 7 Ryu got a beard in 6 now and Kazuya look almost 50 in 8

Street fighter is a like a good Game for kids, just a 2D game.
Tekken is an Adult game, 3D game which need lot of knowledge.
For me Street fighter is just mash the buttons.

Sf6 was harder for me to learn than tekken 8. I find sf6 to be more fun but tekken is beautiful too. If I had to pick one and only one I’d pick sf6 just wish it had a larger roster of characters.
They both look so amazing! I'm not too fond of Tekken, but its still a great fighting game, however I am heavily into Street Fighter more. Either way both SF6 and Tekken 8 are such perfections in their ways possible! Yet, judging by the graphics of both RE Engine and the Unreal Engine, they seem very identical in a way.
From what i can see, the only thing sf6 did better is the vs screen. Other than that, these games are like complementing each other.

Damn, I can't pick one. I'm new to fighting games and I'm not very good at them but they're fun, and Tekken seems harder but both look so fun...
SF6 made the most positive changes i feel compared to tekken 8. Tekken 8 is good but i feel unlockable content is seriously lacking compared to T7.

Street fighter six is a bomb of creativity. Compare to mortal kombat 1, I prefer to watch 22 character with different fighting style instead of so many ninjas😂😂😂 tekken is too classic though and I hate it.
Tekken 8 is a much deeper game...tekken is the absolute best.
I own all 3 big fighters, and Tekken 8 and MK1 get the most play outta me.

Taking the music out of the equation is so dumb. Street Fighter 6 presentation has amazing music (better than T8, if you ask me). The match screen and menus boast fantastic music the whole time.
I prefer Tekken, but that's gameplay related. On the surface, both games are unbelievably awesome. You need to be knee deep on them to pick a side.
That music take is completely irrelevant due to Tekken having the best Jukebox mode of any fighting game ever made.
Plus you can customize the music you want for each stage and the climax

Both games are great in their own way. Sf6 better stylization, tekken8 more realistic. Some levels in tekken don’t look that good. Sf6 has a few levels that are bland too.

SF6 is better by far, why ? Because T8 recycled too much things of T6/TTT2 and T7. Even without that, SF6 takes more risk than T8. So pure and simple, Capcom wins.

I love tekken series since in ps2 tekken 5.. Still playing tekken on ps3 and 4.. Never play street fighter and dont liked it maybe.. Now on ps4 i prefer sf6 than tekken 7 or any tekken game.. I remember tekken was difficult to play while sf6 was enjoyable understandable to play this is make me loved the new sf game.... For now i choose sf6 as best fighting game..

Tekken has many moves and shitt to do not playing vs, however i think st6 has much better mechanics this time for pvp (og sorry idc about nothing else than pvp or 1 vs 1 or tag in the same way. storymode and that shitt is okay , however thats not going to hold me there a long time, its the fight core mec in the gamplay that is most importen for me. i love all this games i guess. in a PVP match i find st6 most up to date. i wish it was Mk 1 (i did not buy it -i think i would like it) and maybe mk 1(summer sales?) gets better with time or not... Stf6, MK and tekken are all cool titles. i dont think they can be compared, they are different. Mk the lovely dark lore, music and gore. Stf is more like cool feel NOW with great practise options learning curve for newcomers and best mec, and tekken is more like pretty funny sometimes i guess, many moves and it can make u laugh. Tekken 8 has many funny things within the character charm more than mec when fighting, and yes i wish they where little bit more serious than a PANDA bear. that shitt i dont like, however i like blanca in stf6 so i guess. what can i say..

Street Fighter 6 is really trash compared Tekken 8 and I explain y'all why. The combat system on Street Fighter 6 doesn't make sense and not intuitive. It's more hard than Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 is soulless and Capcom go woke... Plus new premium characters and microtransactions, it's another cash grabbing. Capcom is more greedy than Bandai Namco... If Capcom is trying to make a Street Fighter 7, better for Capcom don't think about it, because Tekken 8 is gaining more players than Street Fighter 6. And don't try to say "skill issue", because it's the truth... Waste of money for Street Fighter 6 and PS Plus too, and good thing I bought with discount because a fighting game who costs €70 is too embarrassing for Capcom... Oh, and Street Fighter 6 is more unbalanced than Tekken 8...
Thank you for this. Playing both demos and having a hard time picking which one to get. SF6 is nostalgic but Tekken keeps calling me back. I’m sure both are hard to get very good at but so far, I’ve been beating CPU set to very hard difficulty and I haven’t played tekken since PS1!!! The controls feel natural if that makes sense

SF6 > T8 >MK1 IMO like MK I wanted to be hype but its non-existent now like damn... and it's funny when it comes to tekken cause peeps are hype with rose tint once you see the probs its hard to unsee. Also character select screen SF6 is better by default T8 only saving grace we can change the music cause if we couldn't imagine really suffering with that selections song the "OH OOH OOH OOH!"

@@kye4216 1- Ugly Street Fighter 6 logo. The ugliest Street fighter logo ever. The sf6 design doesnt feel like a design for a street fighter game. Street fighter 3 and alpha was way better.
2 - ugly boring forgettable Background music. It doesnt fit for a Street Fifgter game. Street Fighter has always good quality funky upbeat music like alpha 3 and SF3 music
3 - SF6 stupid boring open world tour mode. Street fighter is now GTA??? You fight enemies with boxes on their head and you fight a fridge🤦🏽♂️. Repetitive boring gameplay.
4 - Boring sf6 gameplay. After playing 2 characters in arcade mode, im already bored.
5 - Stupid new characters like shemale Marisa, is a copy Kale from Dragon Ball Super
6 - the game feels like it very Americanized. Real woke. It doesnt feel like a real Japanese street fighter game
7 - To much stupid collabo's from other franchises that doesnt belong in a street fighter game. Like teenage mutant ninja turtles🤦🏽♂️

Tekken 8 isn't the same anymore. It's just button mashing and choosing certain characters. You can't play as defensive anymore, it's a game of who can cheese the most. I liked Tekken 7 but 8 was a disappointment. The balancing is just not right and needs to be fixed.
