I agree with you that Season 3 finale was anti-climatic. However, you forget to mention another small but great part of Season 3 when Stella, Musa and Tecna make a sacrifice to get the water stars. Stella sacrifices her beauty. Tecna wants to choose love of her friends and Timmy over logic but has to choose logic to get the water stars. Musa sacrifices a chance to be with her mother to get the water stars.
Season 1-4 are th33 best though. I hated that Sirenix and Bloomix did not have the fairydust. Like MAKE IT EVOLVE, like an aquatic or dragonite fairydust, NOT REMOVE IT.
@eye-conicben1048 What's the point of having fairydust if you have the Power of the Dragon Flame? That seems a little redundant. I mean if someone has access to Bloom's power, then there's really no need for fairydust. Bloom can do all the properties of Fairydust without it. Strongest Magic No Powerloss Ever (even if the Trix thought they yoinked it once...yeah right.) Healing Powers to break dark spells. Bloom doesn't even need it to shrink because she can use it to do whatever she wants it to...which is why she can use it empathically as well...and that should be concerning for the nice cinnamon-roll who can literally roast if she feels like it. Enter Bloomix, the other five now gain full access to all Bloom's powers...even if Aisha's the only other one who has any idea how having literal plot armor works...and to a lesser extent Tecna. In Sirenix....it also seems kinda redundant, it's not specifically fairy magic which makes it stronger than all other forms...just raw wave sparks. Where Fairydust belongs...is in forms that are not Sirenix and Bloomix...and only for those who are not Bloom and Aisha at this point from Harmonix on...since we know they're the Main Characters, they can do the cool main character things...including those non-morphed fights when someone finds a way to mess up magic.

I grew up watching Winx Clubs and their enchantix transformation are amazing. What I love the most about them receiving their enchantix powers is how they add to their character and development in the season. Also, I love how the transformations reflect them and their powers, which sadly need to be added to the later transformations.
Season 3 can basically be split into 3 parts; Establishing the season (ep 1-5) Enchantix trials arc (ep 6-17) and post-Enchantix trials arc (18-26). I think the first 2 arcs are the strongest mainly due to the hype of Enchantix and that each fairies trial was basically culminated by her becoming a full fledged fairy. Valtor would create conflict, it would directly affect one of the girls, and in resolving it, said girl would earn her Enchantix. Each time it just made you excited for the next winx to earn it. One the last winx earns it, things are still exciting for a it before being normalized. The last 1/3 of season 3 is still very good, but it essentially is the downward half of a rollercoaster. Like Christmas presents. You wait weeks and weeks anxiously awaiting the day you can open your presents, seeing the pile up under the tree. Then after Christmas Day that same feeling isn’t there anymore but you’re still obviously happy.
While I wish S3 showcased the homeworlds more and gave the girls outside of the main 3 a recurring storyline (ie the Trix freezing Linphea, Valtor removinf Tecna's humanity, making Musa deaf INSTEAD of blinding Aisha, etc.), this is definitely my favorite season.
@@TheCartoonHotspot Thanks. And in retrospect, since Tritannus was kind of repetitive throughout season 5, it would've been fun to see him as a Valtor-empowered S3 character with his own plans for Tides, similar to Chimera and Cassandra being antagonists for Stella.
I'd like to add something about our hotheaded cinnamon, Bloom Enchantix. Bloom's Enchantix literally gives more insight into the transform and lore. Even tho Bloom did earn her Enchantix through willpower, it was still incomplete as she didn't fully meet the requirements of the transform. It was also stated by Faragonda that Bloom's powers were dangerously unstable. [Depending on the dub/4Kids Dub] In the Omega Dimension, Bloom couldn't transform in certain instances, making her somewhat unreliable in some aspects, and when Musa used her fairy-dust to cure/heal Bloom, she also helped Bloom transform again. As stated by the Wiki Bloom's incomplete Enchantix, she would occasionally find it difficult to control her powers, which might not work fully at times, and she will not be able to miniaturize at all. She would also have to use more energy to defeat an opponent, and she could faint from using too much power.
I’m really glad winx went down this route because even though bloom was an absolute BADASS in willing herself in enchantix, it still came with consequences. Great protagonists encounters obstacles. And omg I never knew that in the 4Kids dub, she couldn’t transform certain times… that actually adds a whole new layer to her challenge. That actually makes A LOT of sense. Essentially earning enchantix is like a lock and a key. Through sacrifice, you have the write key and therefore can open the lock. Bloom, however, earned enchantix through a different means so therefore she has a different shaped key that doesn’t always work for that specific lock. Just a little analogy I came up with ✨💖
@TheCartoonHotspot Also, I'd like to add one more thing about Bloom's Enchantix. Remember how she defeated the Trix on Pyros. Then, she fell to her knees from exhaustion, and suddenly, her wings vanished. Sure, we can count this as an animation error, but you can also headcanon this as an early sign it was incomplete [Not to mention Bloom being way too exhausted from a causal meet and get from the Trix].
