So I ordered these same brights, I was having a hell of a time locking the bracket it but I loosened the housing bracket with a screwdriver and was able to turn them in and lock them nice and tight! I see people in the comments having this problem but once you fix it it’ll be well worth it, these brights are BRIGHT
I had a hell of a time trying to get these exact bulbs to seat, but finally gave up. I meticulously confirmed alignment, but I couldn't get them to press far enough in to the housing for the tabs to rotate and engage. I just read that the installed o-rings may be too big, and its suggested to swap with what was on the original bulbs. I am going to try that. I'll report back if that works. I also ordered a different set which I'll try at the same time.
I’m sorry to hear about the bulbs not fitting properly, not sure why but the set I installed fit fine, I’ve had mine on for two years and still working fine, 🤷🏻♂️
@@jamesakaflcruzr4277 Thanks for the reply. Must be the ones I got, because after the trouble, I ordered a set of Lasfit fanless 9005's from Amazon also and they went in easily. And worked as DRL at reduced brightness/no flicker and bright as heck on high. So I'm good. Thanks. Great videos btw.
Thanks for the video James. Just have had my Ridgeline for two days now and I already want to start doing stuff to it. Your video is helpful and will give me something to do when my LEDs show up!
Nice mod. Looking to get a RL too..do you have second thoughts of getting a trim higher or Sport is more than enough thou it have less tech and so many missing features on the higher trim
Thanks, at times I regret it because it would have been nice to have a sunroof. Other than the sunroof I really am enjoying my sport truck. I didn’t want the leather and in my opinion the sport has enough options, most of safety tech so I’m very happy with it. My wife has a 21 Odyssey with leather and options and I don’t like the leather in our Florida heat, but the sunroof is nice. I may end up adding a sunroof to my truck so we will see. Although sunroof is mostly for our cool winters, lol.
What kind of heat output on these bulbs? Im concerned about how they are used for DRL in low power mode and the housing may not withstand an extra heat out put. Also, what exactly are the fans cooling?
Thanks for the video. Just did this install on my new 2023 RTL. Very easy but I noticed that these LED's seem not to secure into the housing as securely as the OEM bulbs. Did you notice this? Thanks.
You may be experiencing the same as I did. When you say “not secure” are you sure they turned a good 1/4 turn to lock in? I couldn’t get this brand to fully seat and as a result not engage the locking tabs fully. I ended up using a different bulb which seated fully, just like the original halogens.
I love my RTL as it includes moonroof, rear sliding window and leather seats. For me...my car should have leather seats and moonroof. Anything else are just extra.
Well, it did take me some work, the bulbs have a small nudge and you have to get it right on to the housing, the way I was able to sit was by looking through the headlight housing and aligning it and then I felt the bulb clip onto the housing. I hope this helps.
Hi James, what was your primary reason for getting this brand of LED high beams with the fan? My reason for asking it that there are other manufactures out there that don't require a fan to work. Thank you.

Yes these light bulbs were a pain to lock in. I’m glad you were able to get them installed, I’ve had them almost a year and they still work fine 👍

@@mchad8876 glad to hear you found bulbs to work 👍
Thanks dude
Made the install like cakewalk
Thanks for the video James. Just have had my Ridgeline for two days now and I already want to start doing stuff to it. Your video is helpful and will give me something to do when my LEDs show up!
Thanks I’m glad to share my add ons. Congratulations on your new truck, let’s have fun modding them, lol.
Thanks for the video. Are you going to do one for the low beam and the foglight? Just got my 2023 Ridgeline. Thinking of upgrading all lights.
Congrats on your new truck! No I’m leaving my lows and fogs alone since they are factory led’s. Have fun modding your new truck!
I ordered 9005 bulbs as well as added switch back leds to the front turn signals. No more amber at ALL!
Same bulbs as these or did you find another option? The bulbs listed here don’t even come close to locking into place on my ‘21 sport.
Can you share the amber led bulbs, did you need to add something to the amber bulbs to avoid the rapid flash?
@@jamesakaflcruzr4277 You have to add flash resistors and they can be had at Amazon pretty cheap. You will need one for each corner
Thanks for this video , I just got mine. The strip around the headlight , does it turn on?
@@hulkdavid3201 Congrats on your new truck! If you have the Sport or RTL the eyebrow won’t light up. Those only work on the higher trims.
For your future reference 6000K is not the output it’s is the color temperature it why they look blue white

Very informative. How about replacing the low beam?
Thanks, I like the look of the low beams so I left them alone.
The high beam is also used as daytime driving lights. Does the led bulb come on during daytime?

I am not sure of the heat output. I’ve had mine on for almost three months and no issues.
Hi James. Just wondered how these are working out for you since the installation.Thinking about doing the same to my '22 RTL-E

Front LED turn signal please
My front end is totally different on the 19, the drl’s are led wrapped around the headlights, fog lights are on the bottom next to the turn signals

Great video my friend.
nice truck
Thank you 👍
Try as I might. I could NOT get these bulbs to seat in my 2021 sport.

During the day do they dim for the DLR’s?
Yes, they are same output as stock bulbs but clear color instead of the old fashioned yellowish color 👍
Hi James, it's been a while and I'm curious how they work for you at night and if you'd still recommend them
Hello, the bulbs are working fine. At night they are clear and bright so yes I can continue recommending them.
Now interior lights

Hey, no not really, I went by the reviews on Amazon so figured I give them a try. So far they are holding up well.
Can’t REALLY tell during the day! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I don't have a need to upgrade I live in a good size city
