Hi darling, I have just started making thing, thank god for people like you that show us how to make these wonderful things, i am a little confused but, your measurement of the band is 43cm for size 6-9 m but your chart tells me 39.5 maybe its me and don't understand, thank you again for your wonderful work, regards julie
I'm also wondering the same thing! Also, there's no way she has 52 HDC when she goes around the first time. No possible way. When I crochet it the way she states it, I get twice as many stitches. But if I crochet it to her count, it pulls it together.
so far looking very good and i am just learning.i reach the middle. had some problem making the half double chrochet to find right stich from below but with 2 rounds i got it. very interesting ,beautiful and different hat than most. hope to impress my friend as apresent to her first grandson. very happy and thankfull for people like you- creative , good imagination and able to bring that ideas on life for people like me who unfortunatly are short of this qualities. lets see how will finish it. i made hat for myself but it started from top and even i redo it twice at end was not even -the connection was very obvious and ended up with kind of triangle ...
Thank you for this, great design! I’ve followed your tutorial and have just finished making this hat for my friends little boy whilst I’m isolating with covid. Thanks for the distraction and something creative to do! 🌹
Thank you for your tutorials! A very nice baby hat. I made this and it turned out really nice but I have one problem with the ribbing. What do I do wrong that it stretches but does not spring back?
Hi Sara I have you finished your crystal waves pattern for my great niece ❤️So thank you for your uploads and I had been Searching mode 🙊 for crocheting hat size 6month upwards how come it has taken me so long to realise that you have a few of these ones so thanks again 😊💘 I'm doing all these in red too for her Christmas 🎄 photos she already has and uses daily Crochet crystal waves and the hat of crystal waves I had followed you to complete it and the crystal waves hat pattern with you as new born.. Unfortunately on tis tutorial I don't have the skills to not follow the pattern to sizing for 6month old on crystal waves🙊 I can only really follow along with your demonstration 🤭🙊🙏 But thanks Sara loving that you have 6month crochet patterns to follow up now
Hi Sara. I love the pattern. However I would like to make the set for a little boy. Blanket, cardi, pants and the hat. But You don't have tutorials for them. How many chains do I need for a blarket of 34" square please.
Crochet For Baby I think that you can do it! You’re smart and you can teach yourself. www.stitchandhustle.com/blog/write-that-pattern-how-to-write-a-crochet-pattern
Wonderful teaching, Thank you , Would you be able to teach us the pants in the same design for a 6 to 9 months baby size please I want to make a complete baby boy set for my friend"s baby boy
I made your raspberry stitch hat from your tutorial for girls in color cats cradle. I have some yarn left, would that color yarn look ok with this hat ? Maybe a white band instead of all cats cradle color
Yes I think it would look beautiful. I made one for adults with same yarn but grey band. Here’s the link so you can see what it looks like ua-cam.com/video/Ua-MU--aqvU/v-deo.html
I used a thinner yarn to make this for adult but something is going wrong with the reductions,as the final hole is bigger and when I sew it the result is pretty bulky and not flat as I would like. What can I do?
Hi there, thank you for sharing this tutorial, it’s great! I was doing well following it but when I’ve come to close up the hole at the top, my hat has puckered/folded slightly in places rather than the wool staying in the nice round shape of a head! Do you know why this might be? Thanks again 😊
I just wind some yarn on my hands and tie in the middle with same yarn. Then I cut and shape the pompon. To attach you just weave the same strings you used to tie the Pom Pom in the center and weave through the top on each side. I hope this helps.
Hi sister Thank you for your tutorial, it's really easy learning, I did the same hat for my little one it's came out so beautiful. Thank you for sharing 😊😊
Made this last night using a bulky baby yarn and it turned out beautifully! Thank you so much for the wonderful pattern, instructions and video.
You are so welcome!

I wondered the same thing with the band sizing.

Love the tutorial.. Question, im new to kids hats, for the 6-12 mnts, is the 15-16inches before stitching together to form the ring?
Yes that is correct. Make sure to stretch the brim a little then measure for a snug but not too tight.
Thank you for all of your tutorials. Do you have written patterns? Your baby patterns are the best! I’d love to have them in writing.
You’re welcome. Unfortunately I’m not good at writing them. Looking for someone to write them for me 😉
Crochet For Baby I think that you can do it! You’re smart and you can teach yourself.

Hallo mam main thirty nine centimetre ka hat banana chati hoon toh kitna row lena chahiye
I used a thinner yarn to make this for adult but something is going wrong with the reductions,as the final hole is bigger and when I sew it the result is pretty bulky and not flat as I would like. What can I do?
You may need to do an extra row of double crochet decrease instead so that you have less stitches
@@CrochetForBaby I will try again! Thanks for the response!
Where do you find the measurements
In the information box
at what cm we begin reductions for adult female?
When you have about 5cm left from total height.
For 9 to 12 months how many stiches to start with and what measurements
Hi there, thank you for sharing this tutorial, it’s great! I was doing well following it but when I’ve come to close up the hole at the top, my hat has puckered/folded slightly in places rather than the wool staying in the nice round shape of a head! Do you know why this might be? Thanks again 😊
Don’t know but Perhaps too many reductions?
Thanks for a great video! How did you make and attach the Pom Pom?
I just wind some yarn on my hands and tie in the middle with same yarn. Then I cut and shape the pompon. To attach you just weave the same strings you used to tie the Pom Pom in the center and weave through the top on each side. I hope this helps.
Can we make jacket from this stitche?!
I already did 😉 here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/WHsi8quzUIc/v-deo.html
I really like this hat! Thank you for sharing your videos. Where did you get your crochet hook from? That is very nice!
Glad you like it. The hook I got from hobby lobby 😊
Thank you!!!
Hi, just a questoon, can we use velvet yarn for this design?
You can try but I’m not sure how well the stitch will show. Good luck 😊
@@CrochetForBaby yes u r right, it probably doesnt show the pattern well.. thank u for replying..👍
You’re welcome 😉
Is there anyway to do the alpine stich with a camel stich brim
Not familiar with this stitch.
The camel stick makes it look knitted
Do you have a video for this stick in toddler size?
@@CrochetForBaby the camel stitch is when you crochet in the 3rd loop.
Sorry what size hook pls?
It’s mentioned at the beginning of the tutorial.
@@CrochetForBaby thank u
Can you do this pattern with a smaller hook and thinner yarn? (3.5 hook and yarn is 2)
Yes here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/01vrT2E5nh0/v-deo.html
Hi sister
Thank you for your tutorial, it's really easy learning, I did the same hat for my little one it's came out so beautiful. Thank you for sharing 😊😊
You’re welcome 😉
Thanks for the cute hat! I may be hearing wrong, but are you saying "pom-pon" instead of "pom-pom"? 🤔
Yes you are hearing wrong. Thanks for watching 😊
Beautiful. Do you have a tutorial for this hat for 12 month baby? Thank you!
No but you can just use a slightly bigger hook and make it in the same way. Thanks for watching 😊
Hey, I started today but in base 17" it's came 42 .& you said 52. If possible same hat can you explain in hindi please. Thanks
You can copy
paste the text on google translate 😉👍
I’ll add Hindi subtitles 👍
Great idea 😃 didn’t know you can do that lol.
@@CrochetForBaby u welcome 😊
If a person wanted to increase the size to fit an adult head (mine, LOL) how would one do that? Great tutorial, btw! Thank you.
I’m working on the adult size version 😉 it’s hard to explain so stay tuned.
Please tell about this crochet hook used in this video
Hi. I bought it from hobby lobby 😉
I have that same hook. I love Hobby Lobby.
I have been started about 3 times this hat for some reason is increasing the stitches , need help please ? 😔
I just replied 😉
You are not doing single crochet rows in between?
No.
