The wood cross is supposed to be given to those in hospice. It is made to fit in the hand and gives the person something to grasp as they fidget towards end of life. My dad was given one in hospice.

I’ve been to the Charleston Antique mall a couple of times recently and each time when I saw the lawn tortoise, I thought of you. So glad you picked it up.
Napco and Lefton were competitors. (Just Googled it) They said Lefton often sold the exact figurines as Napco and once the identifying label falls off there's no way to tell the difference.

Finally, and I won't comment again! My adrenaline. starts flowing when I watch :) I saw many things on the top shelf I was curious about glass starfish, Wedgewood jewelry, dachshund pin, etc. I bet you could see the prices! The bottom row was full of epic bracelets! :(. Love watching you! Keep up the fabulous representation of this part of our economy and ecology! Love it all!!!

That beautiful wooden cross is called a palm or pocket cross because you can hold it comfortably in your hand in your pocket and say prayers anywhere and $4 was a BARGAIN

The pot with the texture that looks like lava can be made by putting rice in clay. The rice burns out in the kiln and leaves that texture.

Btw...in case you didn't already find out...the big stone on the huge copper & other metal cuff metal bracelet is called 'lace agate', due to the lacey design in the stone). I had a small piece of it on a small souvenir bracelet my dad brought me home from a business trip he had to the Southwest US in the early 70s. I don't wear cuff bracelets, but that thing was GORGEOUS (and I kinda thought your resell price was kinda low!) Great haul! 😊

Dani, you are picking some really beautiful items! That rock sphere reminds me of a video that showed up in my feed and I watched most of it...The channel was called The Rock Hounding Life and he showed how he found an interesting landscape rock (that he asked if it was ok to take) when he was at Dairy Queen with his son. This guy is a pro and he took the large rock home and cut it open to reveal some really beautiful semi-precious gem material inside...like Jasper. He has all the machinery & tools to cut and polish raw stones. He made some beautiful cabochons from this FREE landscape rock. It was amazing to see the whole process and the beauty that comes from inside "plain old rocks."
