I gotta give to Smart. He’s changed his mentality. The Marcus Smart of last year would’ve played the hero ball and chucked that last shot instead of passing it to Tatum.
That last possession of Irving ball hogging instead of moving the ball created that bad shot of Durant. He got predictable for the C's, then when he found himself trap then decided to pass it... 39 points but his ego played in favor of the C's.

I disagree with pretty much everything Chuck said. lol 1. KD and Kyrie both don’t have to play great. KD had a bad game(by his standards) today and they lost on a last second broken play. If KD just plays below average but not bad, they win. So that’s already just wrong. 2. They CAN get bigger, if Steve nash makes the adjustments. They literally have Aldridge and Blake griffin on their bench. Two veterans with size, shooting and the ability to play defense and rebound. Kyrie, Dragic, and curry/mills should never see the floor at the same time. Pair any two of those guys, but never three. Aldridge or Blake Griffin have to see some minutes. If they go this series without playing and they lose, that’s on Nash 1000%.
I agree 100%, his rotations are horrible...Playing 3 small guards, allowing the opposing team to get offensive rebounds...Play some more big men like Alridge or Griffen smh 🤦♂️
Agreed 💯 bad shot last shot Nets took"KD ". Now here's where everyone I'm sure reads this will agree. At this point in his career Hall of Fame status his basketball IQ should tell him the % of him versus Kyrie making this shot at this moment or higher for who???

What a series we have at hand and as a Nets fan feel very proud how we were able to rally against a really top notch defensive team and who are getting better every game. But we have two legit all-stars and they will make a series out of this. Fans win at the end!
Steve Nash rotation was wrong today. He should've played Aldridge and Griffin. He should start Aldridge to counteract Harford. If Simmons gets Simmons, they would've gotten more stops. This series won't be won on the offensive end, defense will be the key.
Pisses me off seeing them sit and not get ANY PT is ridiculous. Blake was the miss match last season and X factor on D with his hustle. If anyone think playing Brown at the 4 in the playoffs is a good idea. Stop wearing your Nets Jersey
Blake is done. Hasn't played in almost a month. They should've kept James Johnson, who was contributing. JJ is a better player right now. Aldridge, if healthy needs to play. He could be a problem for Horford or Tatum on defense.

Kyrie cant be coached and the team doesn't have a lot of options. There is no plan C as Plan A (KD) en B(Kyrie) is the only plan that execute. Celts wil adjust and slowly keep getting further away in this series. Gentlemen sweep incoming.
in ur dreams
That dont even make sense what you just said bro....
Won't be a sweep
@@bryaneverett2174 I agree Nets win 1.
@@demariomcintosh7946 what other way do they have to play then bad defense being undersized and iso play Kyrie or Durant and some kick outs from the double team to for example curry. Celts have a diverse and deep bench. Only thing that can change this is a ben Simmons return.
I gotta give to Smart. He’s changed his mentality. The Marcus Smart of last year would’ve played the hero ball and chucked that last shot instead of passing it to Tatum.
The Celtics had themselves a very good NBA coach!
Yes, they do and I’m a Nets fan. Celtics coach is gonna be a problem.
He learned from Pop
That last possession of Irving ball hogging instead of moving the ball created that bad shot of Durant. He got predictable for the C's, then when he found himself trap then decided to pass it... 39 points but his ego played in favor of the C's.
There wasn't much he could do in that situation. Considering all the turnovers Durant had....yeah. Passing it to Brown would've been a good idea. Passing to Dragic wouldn't have worked either as White would've closed out on him
I think KD played bad for hes standarts.
KD has only one move in the last seconds: YOLO
Kenny speaking facts !
KYRIE Irving is absolutely sensational the hostile Boston crowd and still playing on fire his skill and talent is rediculous best I’ve ever seen in my life based on ball skill talent and phenomenal layup package too bad they lost kd didn’t play that well but hopefully nets pull out a W in Game 2 I want this to go 7
He’s a great individual talent, but I’m not sure that he will understand a team concept. Keep everyone happy and playing hard.
Kyrie is a cancer on every team he's played on ... regardless of talent. I hope Boston sweeps the Nets ...
@@carloshall6434 Kd really hides a lot of kyries weaknesses… poor shot decision making, and getting his pocket picked
He Never played this hard while wearing green and ive seen him throw games away, but i still Say he is a top 5 pure go to scorer all time
Kyrie scores 39 and give up 40,are you kidding me?
I didn't know Drummond was that "SOFT".
The Nets should use Aldridge.
He doesn't exactly do well against that physicality either
Great coaching most coaches have an ego call a timeout and draw up some play. He saw jalen brown in with drajic on him and let it continue underrated move there
Kd and kyrie both rely on hitting incredibly hard shots. I don't think it's sustainable
I'm still holding my breath🤣
If R. Williams was playing, Nets wouldn't have a chance. But for them to have a chance, they have to win game 2. They are getting massively out rebounded and outscored inside whiteout the C's best rebounder and rim attacker.
What F you talking about? You guys keep talking about this William guy like he’s supposed to be a massive superstar or something.
I like Kenny but sometimes he just says some boneheaded stuff. That pass was to Tatum
Brown and Claxton are the ones who blew that play with the fly-by defense. Every coach in history tells you never to do it.
Every coach except for Steve Trash!
#MarcusSmart is super underrated. He’s a old school scrappy style player. Every championship team needs at least 1 of those types.
Kyrie is smooth asf
Scary good😬
Tatum is more Kobe offensively than Booker. Defensively, a long way to go.
He got that 24 on his sleeve too...dope AF
Shannon Sharpe 1
Skip Bayless 0
All I heard this whole week was how KD and Kyrie are the best scoring duo. Wonder what happened today
Kyrie inability to guard anyone on the court hurts this team tremendously. Great game though.
He be trying though 😅....but look nets in 7 games still...
@@christopheriverson7103 nah Celtics in 5. Brooklyn ain doin anything as usual they do the same thing every year like the flippers get hyped up and choke in the playoffs. Not surprised. They’re a losing organization they don’t have a winning culture like the lakers
@@LeGoatJames111 like the Celtics * sorry but you missed the play in so you dont get to brag about success for some brotha
He don't even try,and that's a character flaw.
Even on the playground we didn't want anyone to show us up.
Score 39 ,give up 40 and a headcase to boot.
@@LeGoatJames111 celts sweep.
Agreed with Chuck, KD and Kyrie have to play "great" each game for the Nets to win it.
Kenny needs some new glasses. Sometimes what he says just puzzles me. lol
Can't
He spent all his money on his hair
@@JOHN-zl5kw money wasted
*This show is just SO GOOD*
Brooklyn definitely should have won this game. So many missed opportunities plus home court whistles.
🥱
Why? Boston played better and led for most of the game
“Im number 1" chuck😂😂😂
I disagree with pretty much everything Chuck said. lol
Aldridge, Griffin, Mills and Curry cant guard the perimeter. All those Celtics players can shoot threes.
@@paulostatic8497 they didn’t have a perimeter problem… they got killed in the paint and lost the rebound battle. Thus, Aldridge and BG can help.
@@ryansatchell2302 That's what I'm saying. Would they trade paint presence for perimeter defense? It's a pick your poison.
@@paulostatic8497 why do they need to trade off? BG and LA will be on Horford. Either of those guys are capable of closing out on the perimeter….
@@ryansatchell2302 Those two are slow due to their old age. I dont think you can expect them to keep up with perimeter players.
This reminds me of the matchup with the Bucks last year the same type of teams that matches up with the nets
Nash is a terrible coach though. I feel clutch games he doesnt have a answer.
I agree 100%, his rotations are horrible...Playing 3 small guards, allowing the opposing team to get offensive rebounds...Play some more big men like Alridge or Griffen smh 🤦♂️
“That’s a horse champion shot right there Earnie” lol 😆
KD Struggled and Boston still barely escaped and Y’all not worried just a little for the Celtics 😅??
So KD & Kyrie have to be perfect for Nets to win? C’s in 6.
I‘m with you. I now think the Nets will take this series after seeing this game
Yeah KD struggled but Kyrie was ridiculously deep in his bag
Agreed 💯 bad shot last shot Nets took"KD ". Now here's where everyone I'm sure reads this will agree. At this point in his career Hall of Fame status his basketball IQ should tell him the % of him versus Kyrie making this shot at this moment or higher for who???
@@gpropho it’s gonna be close for sure … I don’t see Boston playing any better than they did game 1 , meanwhile the nets didn’t play their best game
"I'm number 1" 🤣🤣
KD went to sleep, he forgot Tatum
Guys this series is legit EC finals right here.
He doesn’t want to play griffin for some reason.
That small line up won't win a championship. Nash better make adjustments
Pisses me off seeing them sit and not get ANY PT is ridiculous. Blake was the miss match last season and X factor on D with his hustle. If anyone think playing Brown at the 4 in the playoffs is a good idea. Stop wearing your Nets Jersey
@@hannaboy3542 brown has been good but he’s a guard. Blake should start
Blake is done. Hasn't played in almost a month. They should've kept James Johnson, who was contributing. JJ is a better player right now. Aldridge, if healthy needs to play. He could be a problem for Horford or Tatum on defense.
Got that 90's feel to it
Why don’t anybody talk about how weak Steve mash coaching is all he do for ball Durant or kyrie he doesn’t even coach.. but soon they win a championship y’all go say he best coach ever And life go be compared to Phil Jackson smh 🤦🏽♂️ clowns 🤡
Agreed
He never should've got that job. "Privilege"
BOSTON is the wild card right now to win the championship. Other than that Bucks, Suns, and Warriors are the favorites. One of these four should win.
The best defensive team by a margin almost lost a 10 point lead at the end of Q3 against the 22nd defensive team in the NBA at HOME. Last second get out of jail shot rescued the Celtics and no one is talking about the lapse in defense by the best defensive team in the money quarter. Long series folks.
"Get out of jail shot". The nets don't play defense. Watch KD and Kyrie on that last play. Sleeping at the wheel. You're in a clown car with 2 bozos.

I am glad that Boston won this game and to me when they are focused as a team they can beat anyone on the court period. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017.
How can KYRIE play with a ball everyone else thinks is ROUND, but he sees as FLAT?
Why are so many comments about Lebron. Does he play for the Nets or the Celtics?
