Mine has been running for three years filling big bores for a living. I use a filter on mine, i think those that have issues with moisture probably don't shoot that often and don't live in a dry environment. Here where its on average above 85° throughout the year its not so much a problem.
@TripleGRogerLait yeah, it's been great. I keep it in a milk crate and found it packs well in the Jeep and the RV. For an inexpensive compressor the GX are some of the best.
@@MountainSportAirguns So far I am blown away at how good it is , it’s been amazing . I’m going to order a dry pack for it for sure , other than that …. Keep using it because it just makes sense really . Quality bit of kit 👍👍
@ I don’t even think it came in a branded box. It was off Amazon and came with spare filters. it does take longer to fill Gun with it on, but that’s not really an issue if it prolongs the life of the Gun.👍🏼
Just my thoughts. If your air cylinders are filled by a dealer etc,, the air they are filled with is dry air (no moisture). This prevents the air cylinders corroding on the inside, which could potentially lead to catastrophic failure or contamination being passed to anything filled from it. This is the reason cylinders have to be visually inspected and tested periodically. Filling your gun via a correctly filled cylinder, ensures that your gun's internal cylinder, only contains 'dry' air. Your compressor is filling your gun with tiny droplets of water, especially when the air around is humid, unless you remove 100% of the water, via a suitable filtration system.
@@spam68.. I have bene told that , can you please give me an idea which one to buy please ? I don’t know a single thing about them ? That would be so so handy 👍
@@kempy9584 it’s around £470 ish mark I think?? It uses Makita batteries or that style and they have to be 18V . That’s all I know buddy . It’s cheap as chips for what it is . I’m loving it .
You can buy an adapter to allow Milwaukee batteries to be used on Mikita tools for around £25. Also as of next year a new law comes in that all batteries for power tools must be interchangeable
Small cheap compressors will not fill large tanks . And you obviously don't know anything about the moisture it produces . Don't fill up your guns with water with a cheap compressor. You're gonna have a bunch of people ruining their guns so you can get a freebie from the distributor.
@@carlosugarte1450 hold tight mate , I said it didn’t fill big bottles and it’s not a cheap crappy compressor, it’s dead good and works a treat . I might get a moisture trap but I’m using indoors in dry air .
@TripleGRogerLait I didn't say you recommend it for large tanks . You're selling it as " cheap as chips." You get what you pay for. No way around that. I got rid of at least seven different small compressors customers keep bringing with their rusty guns for repairs. All with "Moisture traps"..... . Most people own many guns, some expensive, some cheap, all with water inside. I doubt your £470 ish mark compressor would do any better. I understand the need for supply of dry air in unaccessible areas, especially if you're hunting with big bores, five shots and you need more air. I can't imagine anyone carrying that compressor, a large moisture trap, and a set of two extra 18v. batteries in a backpack. If it works for you, enjoy.
Good Lucky. Had them at shop. They don't last very long. Batteries and charger are junk. Of the 4 only 1 worked and the other 3 died soon after they sold. Good idea just not a good product. Don't waste your money.
