Was introdroduced to Marcus King when he opened Chris Stapleton up a few years back in Virginia Beach. I just love the bands version of Ritas Gone from jam in the van. This artist can most definitely shred a guitar with the best of them. Thanks for reacting.
Best new talent bar none, he will end up being that "hidden gem" that millions will one day find. Good on you blokes for spreading the word about Marcus.
Thanks for posting this, I live in the South but I have never listened to a lot of Country ( seems impossible right?). I really like this a lot, sort of reminds me of the Allman Brothers and such when I was young. Gonna be a Grandpa now, where does time go? Really talented guy, you wouldn’t see me all alone on the star at center stage at the Opry, I ‘d be shaking like a leaf, sweatin’ like a Wh..e in church.
nice find boys, this young man is so talented i've been on the bandwagon for the last 3/4yrs. only had the chance once to see him live but he and his band are incredible! South Carolina is where he hails from and his music to me is a melting pot of country blues jazz and pretty much anything else you could think of including funk. dig deeper maybe "Dyin'" live from the Big House. Cheers
He and Chris Stapleton are cut from the same mold. You owe it to yourselves to go down the Stapleton rabbit hole like you did with Bill Burr. Your subs will also go up! Please more Chris! Love the channel!
marcus king is more blues based but he does dip into some country, rock, and adds a lot of R&B and jazz elements. check out his songs rita's gone and the well.
"Son of a Bitch, gimme a drink" by Nathan Rateliff and The Night Sweats is one you would love. Also, their song "I Need Never Grow Old." Cheers from Tampa, Go Bucs!

Great choice..,wait till you listen to the request I sent you..,Walter Cole brewery session “ Kate McCannon” and Tyler Childress “keep your nose on the grindstone. Awesome
Look up the Appalachian Mountains colonized by the Brits with whom they call Irish Scotts deep-rooted music from Europe that can't became a big part of American music history I think you'll find that very interesting and how closely our countries are connected by that music
It’s more about the words and the singing combined with great instrumentals in what you have been listening to. Not theatrics and nudity. Although that’s ok. When you’re out there with just a guitar in your voice, you’re naked. There’s nowhere to run there’s no group for others to hide behind or dancers. It’s just pure and raw.
Went to high school with this kid and man he’s been just as talented since he was 13
Really? That's rad
South Carolina office bloke watchers unite ! Lol
Man which state he grow up...just curious

I've been thinking Greg Allman too! It's got a great Southern Rock meets Blues flavor. This guy rocks!
"Where rainbows never die" by the Steeldrivers (Chris Stapletons bluegrass group)🔥

This is the Blues. That's it.
I was supposed to see him and Chris Stapleton March 2020.... tour canceled 6 days before the concert 😢
Macy’s and Billy Strings playing Summertime is a must

If you like Marcus King check out the following artists:
Jason Isbell
John Moreland
Sturgil Simpson
Colter Wall
Love Sturgil wanted to love Colter but I couldn't but I do respect him a lot and I know many people love him!
React to Tyler Childers! You won’t be disappointed
Agreed. Colter wall should be right after.
marcus king is more blues based but he does dip into some country, rock, and adds a lot of R&B and jazz elements. check out his songs rita's gone and the well.
He dips into country music as that's where the money is at. Especially a big Nashville contract. The guy ain't dumb.
Well i guess you have to do Summertime by Billy Strings & Marcus King now.
"Son of a Bitch, gimme a drink" by Nathan Rateliff and The Night Sweats is one you would love. Also, their song "I Need Never Grow Old." Cheers from Tampa, Go Bucs!
nathaniel rateliff and the night sweats i agree is another group/artist they would dig.
Tyler childers whitehouse rd live acoustic
He wrote this after a friend of his committed suicide - fellow musician.

Please react to black - pearl jam (mtv unplugged). Eddie is one of the best vocalists and you gotta see this performance
He's more of a blues rock and soul guy but this one does. fit in the country music a bit.
Side door by Marcus King
See:
John Moreland
Jason Isbell
Tyler Childers
Parker Millsap
Sturgill Simpson

Why do you need so much reverb on your mike's made me stop watching within 20 seconds
So much Allman Brothers running thru his veins. This is southern rock not country
I actually think his family might have some ties to the Marshal Tucker Band. I know he is from the same area and his dad is also a great musician
More like: office guys dosent react at all, at Markus King. Those stone faces.
blues! not country
you're mikes sounds terrible.....sorry guys
