      @@muhammedking3963 I didn't read what you wrote. I don't get into online typing wars with any of you zombie Michael Jordan fans. Now, listen to me carefully. If you have a problem with something, then go on my podcast and show me what your problem is. Stop being so scared. Go on my podcast and prove me wrong on what ever you disagree on. Prove to me that any of the ridiculous things you write are true. Prove to me that you know more than me about the NBA. But you won't go on my podcast and do any of these things. You know why? Because you're scared. And you know why you're scared? Because you know that you have no proof on any of these things. You know that you will lose, and make a fool of yourself, and embarrass yourself, and get owned then. I mean, if you really believed in your head then that you were right on what ever you disagree on, you would go on my podcast and prove it. If you really believed in your head that everything you wrote is true, you would go on my podcast and prove it. I mean think about this genius. If you really believed in your head that your right on what ever you disagree on, and everything you wrote is true, you would want to go on and show people that you are going to prove me wrong, and make a fool out of me, and expose me, and embarrase me. But you are purposley not going on and it's because you know that you have no proof of these things. You know that if you go on you are going to lose, you are going to make a fool of yourself, you are going to embarrass yourself, and you are going to get owned. The reason you want to type online is becuase you feel like it's easier to make yourself feel like your winning. And because you feel more comfortable typing online. Anyone can type online. Anyone can act like they are on top when they type online. Anyone can act like an online tough guy. And anyone can act like they are an online smart guy. But prove the things you write. Back up the things you write. And even if you want to type online, you didn't prove how I was wrong in anything that you disagree on. And when it comes to what ever you disagree on, you didn't prove how anything you wrote is true. So you lost. So stop acting like your winning.............now..............I want you to think about what you typed..........You were rude. You were insulting. You were disrespectful. And you were overall negative. You also guessed things, assumed things, lied, and wrote mis-leading things. You also contradicted yourself, cherry picked things, moved the goal post, and acted like a hypocrite. You also wrote things that were not factual, not logical, not reasonable, and showed that you are not going by common sense. You had no reason to do these things. But you did it. Think about that. And now ask yourself why did you do all of these things? Well I will not list all of the reasons. I will list most of them. And there is no particular order to the reasons. You love Michael Jordan, you are influenced by the media about him, you haven't done enough research about the NBA, your not that smart then, you got annoyed, triggered, frustrated, angry, you know you have no facts to prove me wrong in anything, you know you have no logic that shows how anything I write is questionable, you know you have nothing to show that I contradicted myself in anything, you know you have nothing that will show that I don't know enough about the NBA, you don't want to admit that anything I wrote is true, you don't want to admit that your wrong in anything, you have a pride issue, and you are so desperate to type something to make yourself feel like you won. So these are most of the reasons that you wrote the silly and negative things that you wrote. So think about what that makes you. That means you are strange, ridiculous, emotional, weird, you have nothing better to do, you got issues, your bored, and you are immature............Also.............when it comes to every silly and negative thing you wrote, there is an answer for each thing. I can show you how all your silly and negative takes are questionable. But you don't want to know how they are questionable then............anyway..........I want you to think about a few more things then. You come to my page. You come to my page because you love it. None of the silly or negative things you wrote about me are true. All the silly and negative things you wrote about me you could have written about yourself. You wrote things that only a Michael Jordan fan would write then. No one will agree with you on anything that you wrote except Michael Jordan fans. You are a typical Michael Jordan fan. And you are an example of why Michael Jordan fans are the worst sports fans of all time...............ok.......now.......I predict that you will ignore most of my points, you will not go on my podcast, you will act like you did nothing wrong, and you will keep typing the same kind of things that you already typed.

    I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Robertson when I was about 9 or 10. I was shooting baskets at a resort in Georgia a skinny white kid shooting hoops by himself and he just walked up and started shooting with me. I had no idea who he was but my Dad did. He watched from the porch of the cabin we were staying at. Only after Mr. Robertson was gone did my Dad tell me who he was. My experience with him was awesome. He was a class individual.

He joined my date and I for over two hours of wonderful conversation and was genuinely interested in us, very engaging and kind. I think he appreciated that I knew quite a bit about his high school days playing for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks High School and winning the state championship in 1955. • @cmsmhp
      @cmsmhp 6 місяців тому

      Baylor is probably a bit underrated, but "basically Jordan before Jordan" is a bit of a stretch. He was never considered to be the best player in the league at any one point in his career. No MVP's and no titles unfortunately limit his ceiling on my all-time great lists (although he had a strong case for MVP in the 1963 season). Despite a few monster games in the playoffs, he didn't have Jordan's (or even West's) knack for coming through in the clutch. He was a great all-around player, though. ESPN ranked Scottie Pippen, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Garnett over Baylor in 2020, which was a bit ridiculous. But they corrected that, somewhat, a year later, when they ranked the 75th Anniversary team and put Baylor back ahead of Pippen and Garnett, but not Nowitzki. Baylor is a top-20 player, but I think his accomplishments aren't quite enough to get him into the top 15.

      @@cmsmhp Baylor transformed the game. His athleticism wasn't seen before he came along. Him and Bob Petit are hugely underrated. Ta hell with rings as some metric. Players stayed with one team- good or bad, for their entire careers. It takes good coaching and a good GM/ front office to be a consistently good team. Russell had that in spades. OR played on mediocre teams. Rings are won by TEAMS, not individual players.

      @@lance6112 I'll certainly give you that Baylor moved things forward by making the game more aesthetically pleasing with his athleticism. But most of the very greatest players brought some transformative element to the game as well. IMO, to be near the very top, you have to be both transformative and tremendously accomplished. But I agree that Bob Pettit is underrated too...too much recency bias in many of the latest rankings by the "experts." Yes, Russell did have the fortune of joining an already pretty good team. I grew up wanting to be like JW. I was a Lakers fan through and through. Baylor and West a dynamic duo that "almost" beat Boston a few times. That being said when I saw the Big O i was always like 'why don't i see this guy more often?' JW Wilt Baylor were in big markets. Oscar wasn't. That was the reason. Now as far as West and Oscar push comes to shove Oscar was a better player in the sense, he controlled a game in a way not seen until Magic in the 80's. Oscar was a true floor general. He was under control. He saw the whole floor. He was methodical and could post up players in the post and he had a great medium jumper, and his precision passing was off the charts. He could rebound because he was 6'5' and for a guard then that was pretty big and mostly he positioned himself very well. Now West was a different style of player. They together in the Olympics were a perfect tandem. Jerry and his pull up jumper were a level above anyone's i have ever seen. He was a good rebounder when needed. He was a decent passer. But to me watching his whole career it was on defense that people forget. I have never seen a guy play the passing lanes as well as him. He had extremely long arms and was very quick. But yes, Oscar was a more complete player. But you couldn't go wrong with those guys. And both consummate professionals who had great respect for each other.

He, and Elgin Baylor, did remarkable stuff 30 years before MJ was even born. They didnt play against janitors, either. Huge problem with todays 40 and under people is that they have no respect for the people who came before them. West was a primary shooting guard who slipped to the point as well. Oscar was a point guard extraordinaire. I just consider myself so fortunate to see those guys at their peaks. And they had the opportunity to play together in 1960 Olympics and win a gold. Yea push comes to shove Oscar was better. But there is a lot more to their two games to consider. When ranking players, is never fact. That said also when ranking players there is the difference of a players prime vs a players career success. Like Oscar had the better prime than Magic Johnson. I’d take a prime early 1960s Oscar over any Magic Johnson season. Yet Magic has the most career success because of the 5 rings. The media portrays Magic has the #1 PG of all time on every list. Even on some lists they put Steph Curry ahead of Oscar. The media counts winning and rings in a team sport to justify and anoint the individual. Which is wrong, but is what happens. In a school yard pick of every player in their prime Oscar would be my #1 guard. I would take him over Magic and Jordan. Over Jordan because point guard is a more vital position on the basketball floor than a shooting guard is. Oscar has the mismatch against his opposing PG on most nights because he’s bigger. Jordan is a volume shooter and doesn’t acclimate and dictate pace of the offense like O does. I’m taking Wilt, Kareem, Hakeem, Russell over BIG O in my school yard though. Great centers like those have the mismatch almost every night..
