try to use a darker more red skintone, it helps to make the skintone more visible and makes the mask look more accurate. also use a q tip with alcohol to wipe away the paint on the eyes, nose, and mouth
also use latex to glue the hair down
I find using tacky glue for the hair works the best out of all the adhesives. It's stretchy and dries nicely transparent
Would you recommend using tacky glue instead of liquid latex? I wanna rehaul my mask but I'm unsure what to use
@@kyocallscats 100%. Liquid latex tends to run and would be very messy for trying to glue hair on. Tacky glue is a much better choice and is what I use to rehaul all my masks. That or mask making latex
@@kyocallscatsI’ve used both tacky glue and mask making latex and I can 100% confirm quick dry tacky glue is the best.

Great post Shelly. I never get bored watching others work ,its sometimes a good way to pick up tips. I,m at the same place , as far as choices of "glues" for hair. I too ,use E-6000 always , unless i use a good clear silicone sealant. The G.G. sucks , & a few others dont work well. I also LOVE the Bagder Freakflex tints .... they rock

That's what made me so mad even when I was a kid...the fact they had a Ben Tramer mask on set in H4. Why couldn't they make the F@#$ing mask for the movie?

Hey @Nightmare Toys, I was wondering if after you sprayed fleshtone and white you could re apply fleshtone? i think it would be easier to do that.

How do you mattify the gloss finish that tots always puts on their myers masks? i tried to spray a matte finish over the gloss but it made the mask crack😢

Flaws in the masks you sculpt. The neck is wide and has no lines. And the nose is not high
