- Looking for a spacious 2 person tunnel tent similar to the Fjallraven Abisko Lite 2, MSR Tindheim 2 or F10 Xenon UL2 but for a budget price? I think I may have found one.
Some stock still here as of 17 Nov 23 www.absolute-snow.co.uk/vaude...

It does look like good value for money.
Hello Andrew.
A nice review.
Would you consider doing an updated top 10 tent video?
It's been a few years since your last such top 10 video I think.
I'm sure you've had lots of other good tents since....
Regards, Wadi.
I have had a few Vadue tents over the years, and I still have my Vaude power odysse 2p for winter use. Another great video, Andrew ATB Raymond.
Excellent review Andrew... Liked the tunnel tent very much.. I have one Vaude tent which has worked well for me over the years... I look forward to hearing and seeing your comments after you use this tent in your next review...
Thanks for posting...
Ah Andy, still gutted you didn’t get the VISO. Appreciate the width is slightly less. I had two wide pads in and the vestibule is much better for storing gear/cooking after seeing the Vaude. Look forward to see you out in this mate 👍
I still have my Vango F10 Nitro Lite 200 at 1.48kgs…..still the lightest full size tunnel made.
The Vango Orion 200 is a little tunnel tent gem. It has a porch groundsheet and TBS on both poles so it stands up to really bad weather. 2.6kgs though but I still think this is THE best spec’d tunnel tent you can buy. for cheap. 5000mm H/H with the TBS you cannot go wrong. So overlooked because it’s a Vango and brand snobbery exists but it out performs most tunnel tents.
When it comes to tunnel tents Vango will always have the advantage because of TBS for bad weather.
Looks a good tent, I use the wild country hoolie 2 etc for wild camps with the missus, bags of room and i got it before all the prices went crazy for £100 in the sale.😊 happy days
Brilliant review as ever Andy....best on't interweb 😂. Poles are the USP. Over 10mm is Great. Guyline configuration is weak though. NORDISK Halland PU is under £200 and has 2 front and two rear guylines plus 4 double connectors at the sides that allow you to triangulate the side guys, inner is also 130 wide.....I guess if you are not planning on using it in hooligan weather the Vaude is still a very good buy. ATB from Murrawell pal.
Nice tent for the money, cheers Andrew.
Best wishes to you out there.
Would prefer the Tindheim over this personally A, I guess different price point. I had a vaude mark ul 2 for a while. Fantastically thick poles. Too heavy for the space though. Yes, I found this video of interest!
Cheers looks really interesting. Testing with misses?
Great video, im on the lookout for a new tent and this could be on the list now. Maybe a bit on the heavy side for me but I don’t think I’d mind due to the heavy poles and extra space. I look forward to the test video 👍.
Used it at the weekend and with no issues in strong winds and rain, comfortable , quiet and no niggles so far.
@@AndrewParkOutdoors happy days, that sounds good. Thank you 👍
Yunan poles are perfectly okay... unfortunately, DAC has become just like Goretex, where people don't feel like they're getting the best product available unless it includes the DAC/Goretex name
BARGAIN. I’ve looked at vaude tents over the years but never pulled the trigger, that may change.👍🐶
