I have this tent and have used it a good few times in some pretty nasty weather and i can tell you its definately a decent tent for when the weather turns on you that's for sure 👍
Saludos!!!
Mark, I'm not going to carry it very far, as I'm new to winter camping. I will be taking it on my next adventure for a shakedown cruise. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to share the weight with me. I will be taking it on an overnight trip this week. Temperatures are expected to be 12 degrees Fahrenheit plus snow, so you can watch a crazy old guy freeze 😜. Thanks for watching!
I have not tested it in rain, but the time I have spent in it has given me the confidence to believe that it would handle whatever nature threw at me(within reason). Thanks for watching!
@@footstepsahead6504 Thanks for the quick reply. I heard the new flysheet fabrics are a mix of PU and Silicone which i guess is not as good as double Silicone flysheet of earlier NF 25 tents. Im no expert. I heard this from Tom Heaneys channel.

I've used this tent a couple of times and I have total confidence in it. Thanks for watching!
@@footstepsahead6504 is it good for wind? like a night in a very windy beach?
@@Pathfinding-earth, I believe that it is rated for 50 mph winds. These tents are used for mountaineering and camping in extreme conditions.

Great review! Thanks! The problem for me is the weight! Too high to carry alone
Thanks for watching!
It`s a great tent for all year ariund - if you are 2 the weight can be splitt . Then you are good to go anywhere - great vents also.

Spent 11 Colorado months in mine
Have you tested this tent in heavy rain? If so how did it do?
