Our Ultrastore has the standard yellow valve but also a push in button at the side which needs to be engaged at the same time. This stops the incoming water from draining out. Had me foxed at first 🤔.
The truma hot water service should really be renamed to The Trauma hot water disservice. I wasted money on one in 2015 then replaced the tank that split then replaced the whole hot water service thinking I may have just got a dud then I discovered after replacing two more tanks that they are completely fucked with a lifespan of one to two years and they will not honour their shit dysfunctional rubbish...

when you say put white wine vinegar how do you put it in the tank. Have filled tank today after winter and could not get any hot water.

I had the old type one and it was 24 yrs old and worked 100% I now have this new type one from the video above! Brutal!!! Constant hassle
