Hi buddy i have honda accord 2023 ex my subs strat making distortions at 1500- 1700 rpm even if i turm of my stereo system can please give me any solution for that?
@everything4358 I'm not sure if the ex has noise cancelation. If it does, you can try unplugging the ANC module located in the dash at the passenger side corner. Their are videos on UA-cam showing how to do it.
@evanowens3773 I'm not sure about what damage can happen, but I've had mine for almost a year now and have no issues. I am also using an amp that is very efficient and doesn't pull alot of electricity. If you're unsure, just add a capacitor to your setup
I'm interested in buying a new 2024 Prius Hybrid. How will installing a 600 Watt amp with sub affect the vehicle? I'm worried about the electrical system and or frying anything electrical down the road. What do you recommend?
@edwardcarrillom I'm no expert, so I really don't know lol . Seriously tho, so far, mine is working just fine, with no codes or anything like that, so you should be fine. I'm running an 800 amp, but it is also a very efficient amp, so it doesn't pull a lot of power. You can install a capacitor for a little more protection if you like.
I have the same car and an installer told me he wouldnt do it since it hasn2 batteries and didnt know which one to use. Any thoughts? Im doing a small kicker amp and 10 in. Shouldnt draw too much
@scottmerritt4279 just run your power lead the same way I did in the video. If you have a smart amp like I do, just replicate everything I did in the video. The 12v comes from the battery under the hood
Not sure if placing the amp in that location is a good idea only because the amp generates heat no matter if your playing your music low or really pushing it amplifier’s need air to maintain good performance🧐🤔
Hey man, I have a Touring 2.0 I saw your video and bought the KiSL did you connect the 2 white to the positive and the 2 grey to the negative? Thank you, @ 11:28
Do you experience any loud noise from the Sub when the engine start from electric mode. I’m experiencing a big noise from the sub. I tried changing the ground and the remote signal. Same issue.
@loso0523 I drive a lot for work, and the civic wasn't that good with the gas. The accord hybrid is way better. I got almost 650 miles on a full tank, plus the accord has more space and rides better.
@npittari I appreciate that. I'm glad I could put content out that really matters. As you can see, I moved on to the accord, I do have alot of mod coming for it. It's just too cold right now to do installs 😄
Escuse my question, im a noob at this i just started, Okay so i have a accord 24 ex, i bought a kicker 12 inch, and a kicker 800 amp and the lc2i pro for the loc , from what im understanding, i need to disconnect the anc to avoid distortion? , and where do you recommend connecting the lc2i to? How much of a difference is wiring from the rear trunk and front door speakers? Is it a big enough difference where its worth the hassle of finding out a way to wire it from the front door speaker to the trunk? Last question so i only saw you hooked up to one speaker, are you not supposed to hook up to the right and left speaker for optimal performance or am i just stupid
@oswini6936 only disconnect it if you have distortion, you may not need to. Definitely connect it to the front speaker. The output is way greater than the rear. It's definitely worth the extra effort. You don't have to connect to both speakers , just connect both channels of the l2ci to one speaker (2 positive and 2 negative)
@rotheinstaller oh okay so when im tapping from the front speakers, I still need to tap into the right door side and left door side speakers? Or just one like u said with the back speakers, how did you end up wiring yours ? Any tips for wiring to the front?
@@oswini6936 wire the front the same way as the back. Just use one speaker. Use the passenger side as you will have more space to work with. In the Hybrid Accord, you should not pull more than 30 total Amps from the battery. You risk damaging the electrical system. That doesn't leave much room for big improvements.
@dannywilliams4688 with my amp, it is optional to use a remote wire. I chose to use high-level input to turn on the amp. The high-level signal was taken from the speaker.
Dang. I'm trying to install my stereo tomorrow and don't know where to grab from for the remote wire. Also did you have any distortion from the subs. I was told there are ANC mics in the car that can mess with the high to low converter
@@dannywilliams4688 I did have to unplug the ANC module and yes I did have distortion. The way I connected my amp was very easy. If you do it the way I did mine, you won't have to mess the the dash. Your amp has to have different options to turn it on in order to turn it on the way mine turns on.
