Wow, this was very much icing on the cake and on that I mean very valuable information being a technician also hearing about other peoples horror stories me owning a 68 RFE behind a Cummins. This definitely shine some light in my eyes. Smoking mirrors was dead on from what I’ve seen and heard. A lot of key points were addressed for me. Keep doing what you’re doing man. Thanks for making this video. I’m pretty sure I’m sold on buying a red max transmission in my future which would be possibly next year or sooner. Intelligence and knowledge is all I got from this video and cleared up all the gray areas in the transmission world.
Really wish I would have listened to this before I bought a RevMax stock stall a few months ago. Really don't like the high revving and drivability on the stock stall for my 450hp 5.9CR. Highly informative; great episode.
Hope you get this. Can you explain a bit more about your experience with the stock stall. I've got a 560hp cr 2003. I'm getting a logan built trans with a goerend tripple disc DZ converter. I don't member the stall and am hoping to get a better understanding of all this stuff
Would a lockup event rpm drop be equated " stall speed"/slipage? Eg my new to me 98 12v ram4x4 stockish TC (welded lugs) drops 500 on lock up in 3rd and 4th as well as 500 rise on unlock .
Firstly, I'm no expert. In regards to your opinion on low stall for heavy towing, I've talked to a few people that said with a lower stall they're having to bury into the brakes at a stop light because the truck is trying to take off. Wouldn't that, with my non-expert thinking, cause excessive unnecessary wear to your rear clutches or is that part of the give-and-take with having better take off when loaded?

Plz break down the rotation of a torque converter in a Allison transmission
Still a bit confused as to what are the cons and pros of the low stall speed versus stock
That was some very good info. How would I contact someone with questions?
Give the guys at Revmax a call at 877-780-4334. Thanks for listening!
