I'll definitely do some of them, but not all of them would be fun or different enough I think (like Ghost with flint is exactly the same as any other Ghost build). Definitely open to suggestions on which combos look most interesting!
9:50 my d5 win with old used tazers and wand. Majority damage came from wands because i grabbed ugly tooth and snail combined with olds passive meant enemies could never reach me.
I would love more creative rankings, tier lists, etc. About this and other games. I just got into god of weapons, and I've been losing my entire life in brotato, bone raiser minions, halls of agony, and soulstone survivors. They all have their own appeals and incredible replayability. Most of all though, DO A VIDEO ON SHOP BIASES. What are the shop biases for every character? I have no idea what they are outside of the handful of times you mention it in the guides. Some characters have elemental or pickup biases, but what else? What is it for everyone? What other hidden stats and things are there, if any? Another one i really wanna see is what are the characters that make each weapon shine? I cant make hatchet or flint work, but im curious what characters you think are the best for each weapon in the game? Maybe even just starter weapons? Could even talk about what items synergize best with each starting weapon, theres all kinds of ideas
Screwdriver actually synergizes pretty well on One-Armed as long as you buy Improved Tools on wave 4 and stock up on multiple farms to feed those poor, starving aliens. Minmax love, not violence.
I was expecting that too and I was surprised how infrequently torch came up! (Mostly because most classes that can start torch can also start wand and primitive weapons are broken)
I know you mostly do 20 round runs instead of endless, but it would be cool if you tried your hand at endless even if it's just the once. Loud and farmer are some of the best I think, but I'm sure their are also other options.
Yeah, I definitely intend to, possibly as a livestream. The main issue is time: 40 minutes or so is a good video length I think, so a 3 hour endless run doesn't fit really well into my format. For sure going to do it at least once though!
It was an interesting assessment of the weapons. I'm sad the want got so many worst weapon awards. I do think burning damage needs to be reworked to stack so you take all the damage from burning for each hit.
I don't think it needs to be changed at all, I love elemental builds. They are unintuitive and require some setup though. You only want 1 or 2 burning weapons and pair them with other weapons, most often tasers. Burning should be the AOE control. The tricky part about wand is to set a lot on fire you need piercing and snakes. Red wands also start dealing really good single target late game. Flamethrower plus tasers is more simple to use and works well with lifesteal. There's much more nuance than that and that's why I love elemental builds. Mixing and matching works better than stacking 6 of the same weapon aside from lightning shivs.
Yeah, the wand got kind of screwed over by a fluke of the format to be honest, relative to how bad it is (it's not a great weapon but not as bad as this makes it look). It's just that for elemental builds you're usually better off starting taser and then buying a wand or flamethrower later, so it's a really bad *starting* weapon
And now do a D5 run of every character starting with the worst weapon!

Great idea! I definitely have been referencing that without really explaining it in depth

True, the constructs benefit a ton of from Improved Tools, the trick is just finding it!
Going in, I'mma say Torch for everyone, harharhar. (I didn't even wait to find out you meant starting weapons)

I would love to see if you could make a build where you go all in on lvl 2 wrenches and try to make mass fire turrets as effective as possible.
Usually stacking those is pretty bad, but that's a cool idea for a challenge!
