As a retired licensed rehabilitator in Mississippi this was bittersweet. Red Tails are are number one hawk in this area. Brought back so many wonderful memories... PS subscribed and the bell is on. LOL
I always love it when Martin grabs that Red Tailed Hawk without the glove! He already knew that the hawk was too weak to want to fight back! Great netting at 10:53! Martin knew exactly what direction he wanted that hawk to go! Everything went exactly as planned!
Martin you and your wife have an amazing devotion to the birds. I myself is a rehabilitation physician of injured humans weather a work related injury, car accident, skiing accident, construction catastrophe ect. It takes a lot of time and devotion to take care of humans and animals after a injury. Keep up the great work! You are amazing!
A gorgeous, young red tailed hawk. Sooooooo amazing. You have no idea how much I love and appreciate what you do. Thank you for saving these amazing creatures.
I think what your doing is simply wonderful, to watch you care for each bird just warms my heard and brings tears to my eyes to see your tireless devotion to each and every bird that is blessed to of been found by you. I just want to thank you for all that you do, I believe that you are truly making a difference. I just wish there were more people like you that care about our wildlife and educating us so we too can do our part to help instead of hurt the world we live in. You truly are an angel, Thank you for all your years of hard word and devotion.....Niki
What a blessing to these magnificient birds you are, Martin. My heart hurts for them when you bring them in and soars with them when released. God bless you!
Geez you both do a great job. I truly wonder what these birds & animals think. He looks cranky, scared & confused, these are the only terms I can possibly put to rescued animals. I love the work you do.
Thank you for everything you do!! I am going to donate to you guys for my birthday this month, and I’m going to ask others to do the same. Your videos and your work has inspired me so much, and the extra TLC with Helen makes my heart swell with joy. I will continue to spread the word about your foundation, and bless you for your compassion for the beautiful birds!
Was muss das für ein unglaubliches Gefühl sein, ein gerettetes aufgepäppeltes Wildtier wieder in die Freiheit zu entlassen!! Sicher ein unbeschreiblich tolles Gefühl!!! God bless you!
*literally holding a modern dinosaur descendant with razor toes* "There you go. There's my baby..." I KNOW, RIGHT? These guys make me so emotional 😭😭❤️❤️ So precious! Thanks for all your hard work!!
What a handsome man! These hawks are so gorgeous, what a shame he was so skinny and weak. But I know even without finishing the video he'll be taken spectacular care of. End of video edit: Of course, just as I expected. Glad our wild friend is back where he calls home. ❤️
many layers of amazingness in these videos, including the depth of knowledge and experience in inspecting, caring for, and rehabilitating these birds. thanks, folks.
I just stumbled upon this video...I am glad I did. We have red tails here in Ohio. I love to watch them tooling around. I saw 2 young ones flying around my house. We have too many squirrels. I hope they take the population down a bit. Thanks for the great video.
That was beautiful. Thank you so much for what you do, and for sharing it with us. I LOVE birds of prey. I was lucky enough to have a red tailed hawk on my arm when I was at a sanctuary in the UK, along with a kestrel, and a red-footed falcon. I'd been waiting for that moment since I was a child, I'm now in my seventies! I also watched a peregrine falcon chasing pigeons! He went hungry that time! Had to make do with a couple of chicks! Can't wait to go back there!
I had to call for help 2 days ago. A Red Hawk was down and struggling. I called Wildlife rescue. I was told to call animal control and if no one shows up I was not to help but let nature run it's course. No one ever showed up. I will never ever call them again. I will just rescue on my own as always. Not one person I called even cared. WILDLIFE RESCUE was the worst. I'm still disgusted! Not one person showed up!!!
@@GowildlifeOrg I was heartbroken! I never knew it was like that. In Idaho they come quick! Truly thought it would be that way here. Bless you for all you do! You are a gift!
Hi Martin i just cant stop watching your video clips of how you treat these animals and it breaks my heart if they have to be put down if nothing can be done and i started watching the video of how you started in Utah in the old miners field.Amazing and keep up the good work and you will be Blessed
Albie you may enjoy seeing a hawk getting rescued from a huge snake, just put up at my place if you might like to see. I'm wondering if I did the right thing?
You can always help financially, I’m sure any amount, no matter how small, would be of great help. I wish I could help donate time and help too, but I live in Oklahoma City, and the closest raptor center is an hour north of me, and I don’t have my own transportation at this time. I try spreading the word on social media and to others I know who love raptors
Thank you for saving these birds Will you please update us on his condition His poor moth was just so dry... I am hoping and praying that he will survive
Your videos are wonderful. I am going to contact the Wild Bird Sanctuary, close to my home in Saint Louis, to donate $100. Saint louis is home to the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Many eagles and other Raptors are found here. Thank you for your life long vocation sir.

We live in a suburb new Newark De. Our house backs on the Cristiana River and we see eagles and hawks frequently. It is amazing to see them in the city. They nest along the river...lots of old growth trees.
I love watching you release them. I have several Falcons and a red tail where I live. I saw a little falcon the other day. I cannot remember what you call them. I was thrilled when I spotted him flying.

What a cutie! I love the way the hawks look at you when you're treating or feeding them. Half-scared, half- "Mom?"
The hawk was very weak and very stressed.

What a beautiful bird. Did he not learn well as a baby from mum & dad or was it just one of those things? Lovely to see him go fit and well. 💜♥️💜
Probably just got down on some bad luck and did not find enough food, got starved and the lice weakened it further.
