Howdy! Game ID: G 006 TJ3 C7V So you can jump right in and play. Also, I launched a merch store today! Some pretty cool stuff on there 👀 You can find it as a tab on my channel or under my videos now!
I love this build. "Ascending" while still airborne is such a cool platforming mechanic. Sort of forcing a player to toss themselves into the pit before enabling the rescue could create a lot of tension. Like the other commenters I was delighted by how simply you programed this one. Fantastic.
This is rad! Thank you for the tutorial! Your Videos actually got me interested in GBG and that got me interested in full on game development! And I am having a BLAST! Thank you!
That’s awesome! 😊 I’ve been thinking about doing some beginner videos for popular engines to bridge the gap for some people. What kind of projects are you working on?
@@DaveNodon That would be amazing! I am currently working on a Top down RPG similar to the original Zelda games! Im using a turn based combat system with skills and such, I am trying to mimic D&D to an extent, as I am basing the game off my favorite D&D Podcast! The engine I use is called "RPG in a Box" it is on Steam for around $30, similar to GBG. The engine is very beginner friendly, and there is a whole bunch of stuff you can make with it! The main problem is that it is lesser known from other game engines and there are not very many tutorials aside from the recent ones released from @SlayersRIABTutorials he does well with them though they are kind of long. If you were looking for something new to try, that might be it! Also, sorry for the text wall 😅, I guess I just have a lot to say! 😁
Oh you're back?! That's so cool I watched all your videos but then no new Videos came and I stopped checking but now you're back that's great GBG still means a lot to me.
I have an idea! Can you make a tutorial programing that when you kill a person or press a button an item appears? You could use launch object nodon or something, please consider doing it
Hey DaveNodon. So I am working on a project that is similar to the gamer minigame from Game and Wario. And do you know how to create the AI just like how 5-Volt works?
I also made my take on ascend, but I made it so instead of an apple I put a square with the green pattern on it, anyways it was on someone else's console do I don't have access to it

Raycasting with teleporters like this is really clever and super nodon efficient! A great solution working with the tools GBG provides.
I saw this video in my notifications while I was ascending in totk

Another one hits the garage
Thought this one was going to be way more complicated.

Wow, this is an amazing solution. Great work! 😊👍
Can you do beginner tutorials for people who want to get into game dev? I feel like that’s within the wheelhouse at this point
Hi Dave
Everytime davenodon uploads,
Its a Jumpscare...
You can also do this with horizontal walls, but that is just casually giving the player the key to the finish
I have an idea!

I remember suggesting this. What's next? (I'm hoping for GBG RPG)
I have a question if you can answer please how can we throw objects at random intervals (with the nodon throw objects)?😭🙏
