I haver been using this product for a while and love it. To save on spray, I put butcher paper inside shirt so as to not wet through the shirt as you don't have to soak both layers.
How does the color hold up after more than just a few washes?
@@amberlindsey7112 it will fade a bit. However the unicorn shirt is still going strong and very cute. I can’t say it looks as “crisp” as it does in the video but my granddaughter wears it for bed and it gets washed weekly. So every months later, weekly washes it looks like any other well worn pj shirt. The image is still very solid and very colorful
i do not understand why people have to be petty. I enjoy seeing your videos you are teaching so many people. You're videos are so so great
Where to get the poly t plus?
Hi Lorrie. I’ve been following you for years, love all the tutorials. You made my day today with the ND T-shirt. Thanks for all you do for the crafting world. And Go Irish! ☘️💙💚
That's a game changer because lots of people don't like wearing 100% polyester. Thank you for your video.
Thank you so much !!! New to using in fusible ink but several rolls didn’t know material had to be poly and have many cotton tees ! You made my day . Will order the product .
Love your tutorials !
Wow! Thank you, you are always so inspiring! Just ordered. Love the infusible inks but not a 100% poly fan, especially for Tshirts.
Just ordered some from Amazon 😁 thank you for showing us this product
Vous êtes formidable, vos explications sont claires et nettes. I love you!
Wow! Thank you!!! I'm so excited to try this! I just ordered mine to go with the infusible ink bundle that I got last week!
Thank you! Can’t wait to hear how the product holds up after more than 2 washes! Game changer!
The shirts do fade a bit after several washes, but more of a softer look like the tshirt gets after several washes. The image is still quite vivid.. I can't really explain it. It's still a great image, just not quite as crisp as the original. I am still making them for myself and the kids because I hate wearing poly tees
@@LorrieNunemaker could you please do a follow up video showing how much they have faded after all this time?
Thank you Lorrie you show us all the best tips.
Thank you! Awesome video. I can't wait to try this out. I have a job pending where they really want 100% cotton so now I'll be able to accommodate them.
What is this product and where do you get it from.
I’m so excited! I can’t wait to get in this product!
That is too cool! My husband only wears 100% cotton tees. I may be very interested in this product. Also, have been meaning to say something for a bit and keep forgetting. You look and sound so much happier being on "your own". Im so happy for you and your health.
Thank you. I am happy and enjoying what i do.
Just got my heat press & cricut, so thx so much for this video. I’m ordering now! 🤓👍🏾
This was SO helpful!! Thank you so so much can’t wait to get my spray to do this too.
Thanks for sharing this great informative tutorial Lorrie
Very cool. This is a game changer. Thank you for sharing
The fact that you used regular copy paper😱.Mind blowing❤️
Thanks for sharing. I’m glad I can use copy paper and it comes out awesome
That's awesome!! We really needed this! Thanks for sharing!
This is amazing it reminds me of Pre treatment like DTG
This video was So helpful! Thank you!
Wow what an amazing job!
What a great video. Thanks so much for sharing. I just ordered this and I’m excited too try the product. I went to Amazon first but it’s not available. However I was able to order it directly.
Wow and wow, thanks for the info. On my way to the amazon site 😄
Thank you Lorrie.
This is a game changer! Been using it for almost a year!
So basically you mix it and spray it and after you heat set it, you can sublimate on it like on polyester? That’d be amazing! In your experience, Does it work as good as in the video?
@@nancyeaguiar yes it does.... it’s my secret for the past year!
@@kutepookie do you use normal copy paper as well?
@@Jojoeyjo yes I use laser copy papers...
I tried out dyepress and desizer with a infuiser sheet and easy press 2 to 100% cotton woven fabric and it turned out perfect.
Edith Small isn’t it fun!
I’m so excited I ordered
Game changer thank you for this video
OMG! I have to try this!
This is awesome news. Thanks.
This is amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so very much for all of the info!!! Can't wait to get the spray. Just ordered.
🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺
Excellent video x
Awesome! Thank you. Just placed my orde😊
How has it worked for you?
Very nice and thanks for sharing..!!
This is exactly what I need!!! I've been wanting to use a Cricut Infusible ink for a design that I created. I want it on a dark gray shirt that has been bleached but the bleach technique doesn't work with polyester. I'm ordering this tonight! Thanks for the tutorial.
Keep in mind - dark grey will show through the image because the ink is translucent
Lorrie Nunemaker I plan on applying it to the bleached out part
Wowzers! Super glad I came across this tutorial! Thank you!!!! Can you use a Cricut Easy Press instead of a heat plate? Thanks again.
The only thing I didn’t like was a shadow that remains where I sprayed the Dyepress solution on a gray 100% cotton shirt. I used Cricut infusible ink and it worked just like the pink shirt you show. After 2 washings in cold water (no fabric softener) there is still a shadow where I sprayed the Dyepress. Unfortunately I was aggressive on the area I sprayed and next time I won’t spray such a big area.
Game changer
Have you done tea towels. Love your video
Excellent!! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for you video Learn how use that poly
where do you buy the ink to sublimate Thanks Your video was very helping
Lori, I’m so inspired by your videos! Always new, fresh diversified content! My kid’s have been encouraging me to start a channel. I’ve been do research of different channels (what I like and don’t like, what speaks to me, and the different kinds of production / presentation) for the last year. As a Hands-on-Science Elementary Instructor (real job, lol) the 2020 spring Pandemic threw me into a whole new way of instruction and a steeper learning curve! Almost Blew my Mind! This experience made me a little slow to jumping off! Your model is the one I keep coming back to. You don’t drag it out into an hour of chit chat, family drama or grand standing. Just clear instruction! Do you have any words of wisdom or instruction you would be willing to share??? My content would be basic science concepts or simple experiments / crafting
Rebecca McAllister all I can say is do what you love and you’ll be happy. There are so many different audiences. Some like the chit chat, some like the straight to the point, some like the extremely edited and other want to see the mistakes, some are all about the glitzy effects and others just want to know how to do something. The point being, you will never make everyone happy, so just do what feels natural and right to you and your like minded subscribers will come. Don’t be afraid to try. Remember to share your content everywhere of you want to build a following.
Rebecca McAllister also - remember to focus on the positive comments because there will always be a few jerks who feel the need to critique or say not so nice things. It’s very easy to zero in on those few comments and forget the other 97% of good comments. The majority have good intentions, those other 3% just need prayer 😉
Thank you ! I Love mesh bag tutorial I just watched.
I have a cricut can I use infuse-able ink with my craft printer?
Have you washed the shirts you did since the video and how did they come out?
Can the dyepress poly solution be used on thick cotton/canvas materials?
My mind is completely blown away by this product. I started watching your video yesterday and went ahead and purchased 2 bottles of this stuff off do Amazon. I figured it might sell out quickly so, I decided I needed to get more than just 1 bottle. I’m completely new to Cricut and sublimation. One quick question I really hope either you or one of the followers would be able to answer for me, can you use parchment paper for sublimation or does it need to be butcher’s paper?
I know its been awhile since you posted this comment but since no one answered you, yes you can use parchment paper!
@@Dangerfloof684 I appreciate that you answered my question. Thank you! Have a great night!
Hi Lorrie can you tell me what kind of heat press machine you use? Thank you.
Does the color stay vibrant after a wash
How long does the inks last using the sawgrass printer? Would I get similar results using an epson et printer converted to sublimation inks?
Do u need to put parchment paper inside shirt when printing
Loving what I am seeing. Which link will provide the spray bottle that you show in the video. I looked at both and neither show or mention the spray bottle. I haven't really dove into the infusible ink because of the limitation of only polyester shirts but now you have opened the doorway for all the t-shirt stock I have on hand. Thanks so much for sharing this!
You have to order the 16oz concentrate from DyePress direct
purchased! Thanks again!
Can I use infusible ink with a cup press
Do you think this would also work with the infusible ink markers?
Hello Lorrie, will this solution work on dark 100% cotton ? Thx you
I must have missed it but would love to have the unicorn design you made. Where can I find it if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
Hi , can l use my Cricut easy press to seal the product into the shirts? Also what other things can you prime with this product? Thank you so much💖
Yes you can. As far as other products, this mixture is meant for fabric.
Was hoping to see what the shirts look like after washing because that's the real issue for me. The 100% cotton tee can print colorful shirts, but it washes out in the first wash. How many washes will this last. If it says it will last for the whole life of the shirt, I don't understand how because it is a "coating" for the cotton fibers and if that gets worn off, won't the result be fading?
How do you keep the white t-shirts from ending up with yellow scorched patches outside of the printed area where there is over spray? I tried removing by spraying peroxide but still can see yellowing. And yes, followed their instructions carefully with time and temperature. Verified my heat press temperature with an Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun.
What does it look like after washing?
I am very new at this..where did you get the Iron on Transfer???
I think I’m confused so these sheets take the place of the ink that you would add the printer or do you still need a submlimatiin printer as well to work with the sheets - sorry still learning 😩
Can you use a cricut easy press to make the shirts or do you need an actual heat press?
Will the temperatures work with the Cricut Easypress?
Hi, Lorrie, I ordered the product and will be using it soon. I made the mistake of ordering RED shirts for family for Christmas, not realizing that the cute sublimation design I purchased on Etsy would not transfer that readily to red. It looks faded. Any tips? Or do I just tell the kids it's supposed to be subtle. I am not sure I want to go out and buy more t-shirts. Any suggestions appreciated Thanks! Mary
I have a question about the spray product you are using. Is that a necessary step for infusible ink or just sublimation?
I just got a new Cricut Maker and accessories to go with it and infusible ink paper and pens were part of them accessories. Where can I buy this product?
Not sure I understand can you help me what is the difference between these 2, is it brand name or types of ink and if so what would be the difference... I am new to this type of printer... Plz n Ty SawGrass SG500 Printer (JP PLUS): SawGrass SG500 Printer (Swing Design):
Can you use this product on cotton/poly blends? I have tons of items I ordered. I have not used them yet, and I cannot return, so money wasted. Before I start, I was curious and did not want to waste product. I do have an injet and sublimation ink. But, I also bought sublimation paper. Any guidance you could assist with, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and the videos are awesome?
Wonder if SPRAY STARCH can be used
Can you use the Easy Press instead of a heat press if you don’t have one. Thank you for all your videos!
Mary Constantino if I remember right, you need a heat press bc of ghosting.... I may be wrong....
I am interested in what the shirts will look like after they have been washed. I have seen this done on cotton before then after one wash it faded about 50%. Can you please show after you washed the shirts. Thank you.
I just posted the washed shirts on my Facebook page and in my Facebook groups. No sign of fading
@@LorrieNunemaker why not do a video? Everyone is not subscribed to your FB?
Have you washed them and if so how many times.......
Can I ask what brand ink do you use? Thanks,
Can you make a video of a before and after first, second, and third wash?
Lol I posted photos on my UA-cam community page and in Facebook of the shirts after washing and drying. They showed no signs of fading, cracking or peeling. I won’t be doing a separate video just to show the shirts as I have quite a list of new projects to film
Do the shirts hold up to washing?
any other product u recommend because is out of stock now?
Can you use a iron if you don't have a heat press
Is this stuff CPSIA compliant for children’s shirts?
I’m getting stains on mine from the spray please help, what can I do to avoid that .
I notice on some of my white shirts I get over spray cause a shinny spot or more outside of the image, how do I fix that? Thanks.
So what machine i have to buy for this? I already have a sublimation printer but guessing this one dont use it
How do they wash? I just got a sublimation printer. I heard they colors fade quickly.
Hi Lorrie. Boy does this open up the many possibilities. Can you use the Easy Press 2? Where can you order sublimation ink for a printer and the concentrated & spray bottle? What’s the cost for ink. & spray? Do you have to put a sheet between the shirt layers to prevent bleed through? Thank you!
Karen Carr I have products listed in the video description. As far as ink it depends which printer you use. You will have to google your printer and sublimation ink
Hi do you pre wash the shirt
The shirts look stiff in the treated areas. Does that change after washing?
She literally said it's stiff until you wash it....
Would this work on canvas
So you use asub a lot 125g ? And I had purchase 120g and printed and it came out dark some what light but it see you use 125g and it came out dark so how is it through wash ?
How long does it take to dry before you press your item?
Would sublimation paper work better than the printer paper
Great video! Not sure if you said that we can use regular copy paper to print the design? We don’t have to use sublimation paper?
I use regular copy paper but you have to use sublimation ink or Infusible ink
Lorrie Nunemaker thank you so much for answering!
My design is sticky when I pull it off so it comes out faded! what am I doing wrong
I was wondering if the Dyepress will work on mugs that are not sublimation? I was not sure. I seen that they had a product for wood tho. I ordered last night after watching your presentation. They sent an email that it was shipped today already!
No need for the wood product, you use those laminate sheets on anything else. :)
what about affter 5x off wash
Does it turn the shirt yellow?
Lorrie, there seems to be one universal question regarding spray ons and sublimation. Longevity. Please do you have before and after washing?
Please see my sweatshirt video and subsequent videos afterward where I wear said sweatshirt that has been washed several times
Could you, on a colored shirt, do the design in white, and then do in a colored print over the white?
Printers don’t print white
