So true about radio! Absolutely blows. I can't believe they still play Steve Miller, Boston, Frampton, Foghat, Eagles etc etc etc and the same 1 or 2 songs from each of them! Are we really that simple?!?! Love that deep talk on Southern Rock!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Hey Buffalo I have a buddy of mine that purchased Toy's tobacco Les Paul from the mid 70's. He brought it out to a Tucker show and we both sat in w/ MTB. Really cool!
@@AmbassadorofSouthernRock tell me about it! I’m anxiously awaiting to see if he will ever part with it. Very cool to hold and play nonetheless. Man I just love your channel brother!! A southern rock fan’s dream!!!!!!
So true about Southern Rock bands! As an Upstate New York resident my whole life and the bands that I play in, the music I listen to and my favorite music is Southern Rock!!! #LongLiveSouthernRock
HEY BUFFALO~!!.....i have to say, you never do a less than great show~!.....i had to let you know about the responce i got, from posting the show with "FREDDIE SALEM" on my FB home page??......when you got more than 3,500 frynds, and most of them are musician's or music biz related folks, that i did business with in my 40yrs. of promoting, and on average i get 30 to 40 comments on this type of story?.....and that one peaked @ 106 ~!!....and i was thrilled, to know that many folks enjoyed the show, cause i got MONTE, HENRY, DAVID, STEVE & RANDY, that replied, and they are OUTLAWS~~~!!!!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH David! Made my day! And thanks for helping promote us! I know brother Freddie appreciates it too! 40 years promoting! Heck, we should talk! Been writing and reviewing for 40 years! Thanks again!!
I was a HUGE FAN of Johnny, Edgar and Rick. Had all the LPs. JW And was amazing as was their LIVE. I thought Jumpin Jack Flash was a JW song for a long time. LOL. Sure it's Mich and Keith, but Johnny really owned it too. Good stuff.
@@AmbassadorofSouthernRock Well' that explains it....anybody who thought JJF was a Johnny Winters song don't know what the hell he's talking about anyway.
@@chipmusick682 HA. Dude, I was 12 when I thought that. Not exactly a music scholar. BTW the H in Mick is a typo. I'll happily take you on in music trivia anytime bud. Been living and writing it for 45 years. Give me a break. BTW, I don't consier the JW And work "southern rock" anyway. But it sure is great.
@@MichaelBuffaloSmith Peace Friend...I didn't mean to get you ALL SHOOK UP. I was just having a little fun. I didn't even notice the typo in Mike's name. I guess I shouldn't be so hard on you yunguns being so yung and all but I had just had my coffee when I seen that and I thought it was funny...Anyway, no offense intended and I was just having a little fun. Oh, and by the way, the 1st record I ever bought was the 45 "Chain Gang" by Sam Cooke and by the time I was 12 I could play along with Duane Eddy to every song on "Million Dollars Worth of Twang" (both Vol.1 and 11, so you might want to be a little careful about that music trivia business, you might get your ass handed to you but I have said too much and misspelled yunguns twice so I guess it's nap time. Anyway, Peace Friend and God bless...Stay Safe.
Sorry but I can't take a list of the supposedly "greatest southern rock albums of all times" that DOESN'T include "In The Land of Salvation and Sin" by the Georgia Satellites seriously! You must never have heard it.
The album title I blanked o at the end was Coast to Coast Live by the Winters Brothers Band! A good un!
