Our 2019 tour of Albania and the Balkans was amazing! This is the eighth episode, which follows us on the final 3 days across southern Albania's natural and historic stops. We walked through a castle at sunset, floated in hot springs with unreal surroundings, visited local religious sites, and ate more incredible food than ever (and more food than we've ever eaten in one sitting). We didn't want to leave this amazing country or its inviting people. You need to come to Albania.

Definitely next time. We loved the area, and we were sad that we didn’t have more time to spend in the outdoors. This first trip helped us scout out our favorite places for outdoor adventures when we come back! We know we just barely scraped the surface of what Albania has to offer.

Tourist Visa is not required for US citizens. You would need to consult the state department for your home country or the Albanian embassy.

I’m sorry. We’d love to answer your question but the translation is a little tough to understand.
We did not feel that Tirana was an overly crowded city, but we did not spend much time there. yeah
The countryside was not crowded at all. I understand that beach towns can be crowded in summer, but they were very empty when we were there in the month of may.
