An old Sierra classic, Caesar 3.
Caesar 3 is city builder game released back in 1998 by Sierra Studios. It has both a career mode (what i'll be playing) but also has the "City Construction Kit" which allows you to do whatever you want and makes it a bit more of a sandbox type game. Similar to many games of the era, it uses an isometric view and has beautiful graphics.
Like my OpenTTD series, this isn't the the original Caesar 3 but a modern version called Julius. You can find Julius and it's instructions here:

I loved these types of games back in the day :D Used to play a lot of Zeus Master of Olympus also.

I never played that one, but I think that's because it was so similar to Caesar 3. Just the Greeks instead of the Romans.
