And a aveo definitely need several of those extinct
I mean they started making them in 06 for the 07 model year. These also have the 3.5 where the water pump pukes into the oil and then the cost of repairs runs around 2-3k, more than it’s worth.
Our 2011 traverse awd has 183k miles, only things really been done tires brakes, water pump, power steering pump, catalytic converter, damn ct emissions, not a bad car, oh and the affected torque converter in the transmission does shudder a little when you put cruise control on, but fine when you use the pedal, we just change the fluid every year or two, its held up and as for the engine we just keep full synthetic in it and when it gets a little low, even if theres 400 or so miles left we just go and get it changed, $100 fluid change isnt worth the $3000-8600 engine/transmission due to internal failure. We know the timing chains wont last forever, but its been our most reliable car other than when the water pump went.

What am I hearing rod knock at the lower rpms?... these are usually pretty reliable except for the internal water pumps leaking coolant and locking up the engine. I've never heard a duratec 35 sound this bad

GM builds the best v8’s hands down but I hate their products cuz every gm product i, my family, or friends have owned has been a massive pile of garbage! so if its not just me it says a lot about that company! they use nothing but the cheapest chinese fuckery they can buy!

Amazed that poor engine still tried to start after being so full of random liquids for that long. I would like to see 2 or 3 bottles of the powdered chalk that you get to refill chalk lines with dumped in sometime. It's powdered, so when it mixes with oil/water/Fabuloso it should turn into a sticky paste. Plus, it should be more abrasive than flour.
